17 months and last night for the first time ever he slept a solid 11.5 hours straight... I was awake off and on from 4 anticipating his wake up..
We have resorted to gentle sleep training as prior to this he was up every 2-3 hours sometimes for at least an hour

My children are 8 and 6. I get 7-9 hours sleep a night.

DD is 6 months. If I was sensible and went to bed at 10, I would get eight/nine hours. But I'm not so I get about six/seven generally broken into two blocks as she has one night feed still. Sometimes I get more, as DP takes her every morning before work and at weekends and I can go back to bed if I want or just get other stuff done. We've been very lucky so far.
