6,4,3,1 - pretty much always 7 hrs unless I stupidly stay awake beyond midnight.

littlestrawby · 01/08/2019 19:52

20 months, probably between 3-4 hours broken per night Sad

UpsAndDowns13 · 01/08/2019 19:54

18 months... 4-6 hours broken sleep. You get used to being tired eventually!

trilbydoll · 01/08/2019 19:58

Dc are 4 and 6 - terrible at bedtime, both wake up during the night but at 7am they fall into the deepest sleep ever and have to be shaken awake at 8am Hmm

We go to bed about 11, so 8 hours with a few wake ups.

plonkie · 01/08/2019 19:58

Nearly 4. 6 hours broken sleep. He still wakes frequently and I find it hard to go back to sleep sometimes. He is in his own bed now which is an achievement... but I do have to join him there sometimes (accidentally after settling him mostly!).

User2222 · 01/08/2019 20:07

8 month old sleeps for 12 hours. I sleep for 8 hours.

WhatHaveIFound · 01/08/2019 20:14

Term time...
14 year old sleeps 10pm-6.30am
17 year old sleeps 11pm-6.30pm
50 year old (me) Midnight-6.30pm

Holidays the 14yo and I manage an hour more, 17 year old goes to bed at Midnight but is not up before 11am unless she's working.

Buyitinbamboo · 01/08/2019 20:17

3 year old. I'd have 11 hours if I didnt have to work in the evenings. I always get a minimum of 8 though.

sewinginscotland · 01/08/2019 20:30

9 month old sleeps for 12 hours, usually with 1 wake up (sometimes none). I usually get 7.5 hours, that's how much I had pre baby. However, teething, illness and sleep regressions get in the way of this.

CassianAndor · 01/08/2019 20:32

DD is 9.

I rarely have a disturbed night. She has always been a pretty good sleeper, even as a baby - getting her to go to sleep is a another story, however - always been a night owl.

Sexnotgender · 01/08/2019 20:34

He’s 6 months tomorrow.

I get about 7 or 8. He gets up maybe once or twice max and he’s only up for 5/10 minutes for a quick feed and straight back to sleep.

BigTubOfPringles · 01/08/2019 20:34

Mine are 4 and 7. Both sleep 10-11 hours a night, but the older one usually falls asleep an hour or more later than the other so I get about 9 hours out of 24 where they're both asleep.

GinGeum · 01/08/2019 20:36

6 month old. Baby gets 13 hours, I get anywhere between 8 and 10. Currently pregnant again so going to bed v early some nights!

elQuintoConyo · 01/08/2019 20:40

7.5yo, sleeps 9/9.30-8am.
We sleep 11/12-8am.

We coslept until 2.5yo as he was a total cot refuser, but always slept fairly well. Tbh it's all a bit of a blur now Grin

ohmysoul · 01/08/2019 20:50

21 month old. I think I get around 5-6 hours a night on average, sometimes more sometimes less.

twirlypoo · 01/08/2019 20:51

Ds is 7 and sleep pretty much 7:30 - 7am.

I get 4-6 hours regardless because I’m broken ConfusedGrin

FrangipaniBlue · 01/08/2019 20:52

DS11

As much as I want, he's pretty much self sufficient?!

He likes his sleep more than me, he's good for at least 12hrs

nomushrooms · 01/08/2019 20:56

8 months. She does 6.30 - 5.30/6 with a wake up or two.

Taking into account when we go to bed, around 7-8 hours broken once or twice.

NamiSwan · 01/08/2019 20:59

Kids are 3 and 5, I get 6-7 hours a night depending on what time I go to bed. Could get more if I went to bed earlier as they both sleep through, just wake up early (6/6.30 am).

Both of my children were terrible sleepers and woke frequently for the first 2-3 years of their lives. Youngest has only been regularly sleeping through since just before she turned 3.

It does get better OP. A lot of people I know had better experiences than me and their kids were sleeping through by 18 months or so.

SpeedyShutter · 01/08/2019 21:03

7&8.

How much sleep I get depends on when I go to bed because they sleep through (one has adhd and doesn't sleep but just stays in their bedroom and reads or plays until they sleep or it's time to get up).

As babies they both slept through from 7-7 from about 2-3 months (the adhd child didn't start having trouble sleeping until they were older and I've never minded the playing etc so long as they don't stop me from sleeping).

Anothertempusername · 01/08/2019 21:16

3.5 months. 6 hours.

Kim82 · 01/08/2019 21:28

Kids are 18, 14, 11 and 5. I get about 9 hours sleep at weekends (more if dh is off work as he’s an early riser) and between 7-8 through the week.

My youngest generally sleeps for 11.5-12 hours every night, she has to be dragged out of bed for school in the mornings amidst cries of “just 5 more minutes” and will sleep for just as long if she goes to bed late so we let her stay up til 8.30-9pm at the weekend so we get a lie in.

I know I’m lucky to have a good sleeper, the elder 3 spent years waking at 5am no matter what time they went to bed which nearly killed me off! Also, the 5 year old used to be terrible, she woke every 30-60 minutes for 17 hellish bastard months so I think I’ve earned the good sleeping child now 🤣

Lauren83 · 01/08/2019 21:30

5 weeks and 18 months - about 3-4 on average as baby has bad reflux

FenellaMaxwell · 01/08/2019 21:31

2.4yo. Getting about 6-7 solid hours on good nights, and maybe 4-5 broken hours on bad nights. We pretty much alternate good and bad nights at the moment. 😞

sunshineandshowers21 · 01/08/2019 21:35

mine are 11, 5, and 9 months and i get around 8 hours - normally 11pm-7am. i’m very lucky that my little girl has slept through from around 4 months, and my two boys go to bed at 8 for the youngest and 10 for the eldest and they both get up between 8 and 9am.
