Feeling sad that I will give up my DS napping on me - am i the only selfish one?

Sigh. As an alternative to the 'my 4mo DS only naps on me' I'm feeling sad that I am about to start trying puttting DS down for naps.... hes always napped on me as he doesnt like being lowered into anything.

So wish me luck trying....i think

If it's any consolation, come summer your baby will probably only be napping 2-3 hours a day - and he'll be mobile so you'll be desperate to have an excuse to put your feet up after chasing him around all day - trust me, I am basically you but 6 months ahead

Oh OP, when we had that really hot weather back in June or July (it's all a newborn blur) my DD was at the stage of absolutely not wanting to ever be put down. It was all very sweaty.
