Just wondering?
I have tried googling but cannot find a definitive answer.

Jessie I meant food that could be a choking hazard, which is what I said. Fruit with stones/pits in it - perfect example. I know plenty about baby led weaning, my MIL is a midwife and my aunt is a paediatrician.

My point is some people simple wouldn't know better or even know what baby led weaning is JUST because they had children. That's why antenatal classes and doctors exist.

JessieMcJessie · 07/03/2017 23:12

No you didn't, you said that food which was not puréed was a choking hazard.

Bean Just out of interest, how did you wean and sleep train?

Im living in another EU country at the moment that has a very similar parenting ethos to France and I hate it. The general attitude to children can be awful. It's definitely not something that I would aspire to!

FATEdestiny · 08/03/2017 07:52

Bean, you said food not pureed is a choke hazard.

Which is incorrect and sounds like something from the 1980s

Bean, you also say (several times): My mum is... My aunt is... Yes, and? You say this as though it matters in on parenting ability. It makes you sound about 12.

I have many family members and freinds who professionals, health professionals, professionals who work with babies and children. This includes my own postgrad education.

Is your suggestion that this makes them/me the best parents? Why thank you. But I wouldn't agree.

LapinR0se · 08/03/2017 07:56

Jeez will you all lay off bean!

Under about 9mo Id say 10/11pm to 6/7 am

From 1yr old plus id say 7pm to 6/7am.

AyeAmarok · 08/03/2017 08:17

For a baby I'd say from when they're put down, say 10pm-11:30pm, until a reasonable time in the morning, so 6am onwards.

My 3 month old DS slept 11-7 once. It was amazing.

He obviously didn't think so though as he's not done it again. [sad ]

For me it's bedtime to getting up, without waking me up. So 7.30-5.30 or 6.
