Would you hire a Night Nanny?

If money wasn't an issue, would you hire someone to care for your baby every night for the first six months? A friend of mine is doing this and I can't decide whether it is something I would do if I could afford it. I'm interested to know what others think.

I would but not for 6 months. Maybe for the first month.

If you want to bf I don't see how it's an option though.

It's great if you BF, baby gets brought to you, you feed it, baby then gets nappy changed, walked around, patted etc and settled back to sleep while you nod off again. WonderfulSmile

Oh yes that would have been nice!

I'm all for it in that case. I say that as someone who raised my dd from day one singlehandledly. Wow it sounds lovely Grin

No way. It is exhausting but part of bonding with your baby to feed and soothe them in the night.
