On the Piste soon anyone? Half Term is looming and DCs are counting down the days!!

We are going to Kitzbuel, and they have had fab snow so far. We can't wait....

Where is anyone else going ? And if you are coming to Kitzbuel too, I'll give you a wave from the gondola

The Lecht for us tomorrow

Wallace just back from Glenshee. We had all four seasons in one afternoon. The snow was really good so no problems there and it didn't get cold till about two o clock. We had snow to start and then the sun kept coming through the mist. We also had small gritty flakes and a slight wind. When we packed up at three o clock the sun came out and it looked lovely. We also saw loads of stags on the hill on the road up, so we had a really good day.

I think you would be better at the Lecht for beginners Wallace.

We have been wondering about going to Glenshee but it seems daft to drive through the Lecht to get there so it is good to know that we are better off at the Lecht anyway.

I've been sorting out all the skiing stuff for the morning and thinking "If it takes this much organisation and stuff for a morning skiing, how on earth to you guys do it for a ski holiday!"

Have started a thread for chatting about skiing in Scotland if anyone is interested.
