Sleeping Environment Survey

AnnMumsnet · 20/06/2008 13:09

We've been asked to find out a bit more about your attitude to sleep and your child's sleeping environment.

The survey is open to anyone in the UK with at least one child aged under 4.

Everyone who takes part in survey will be entered into a prize draw where 1 respondent will win £150 of vouchers for bebeco and 2 runners up will each receive £50 of vouchers for bebeco

Click here to complete the survey

Thanks a million and good luck!!!

Indeed, a crap survey. It had the assumption that even green parents wouldn't have considered washable nappies.

As for "planning the baby's sleeping environment"? we just put the baby into the bed. it wasn't that much of a plan.

CaptainKarvol · 24/06/2008 13:23

how do you get entered into a prize draw then? I wasn't asked for an email / any identifying details at all. What are they going to do?

'And congratulations to the 175th respondant. Who was that then? All line up in order...'

(or did I just manage to miss that bit!?)

PInkyminkyohnooo · 24/06/2008 15:23

that was a badly devised survey. A lot of it didn't make any sense§

fawkeoff · 24/06/2008 15:59

DONE but i do think the survey needs teaking a little

carriemumsnet · 24/06/2008 16:39

CaptainKarvol at the bottom when you've done all the survey questions there's a button to press that takes you to the bit where you fill in your email address, age of your child/ren and where you live. If you did that you're entered. If you didn't you need to do it again - hth

.

bran · 24/06/2008 20:05

I couldn't answer it, some of the questions weren't applicable to me and some didn't have an answer that I wanted to give. Sorry.

namechangecosfeelingsad · 24/06/2008 21:20

No West Midlands either!

Oh, and I love the way nobody cares where you live if you're in Scotland (or anywhere except England). East Lothian, Perth and Kinross, Highland - nobody cares.

Too confusing.

Is temperature more importance than brightness? Well it depends - would I put my daughter in a slightly warmer room with curtains or a slightly cooler room with no curtains? Is dust more important than noise - well couldn't I just give the room a good dust?

MadamePlatypus · 25/06/2008 18:15

[should probably read, "couldn't I just remove the dust?"]

ThingOne · 25/06/2008 18:30

Agree - crap survey - no option for "put baby in my bed" and didn't have a nursery. And as for choice of room once they are on their own how many spare rooms do most houses have?
As for the "what difference" questions a "not applicable to me" would have helped! I didn't have "problems" in most of these areas and was happy with how things were. Why assume people want time away from a small baby? A screaming toddler (I am currently hiding from one) is a different matter ...

MadamePlatypus · 25/06/2008 18:39

Agree about number of rooms ThingOne - "Shall I put the baby in the east wing or the west wing, or perhaps we could convert the billiards room?"

vonsudenfed · 25/06/2008 19:37

no, when I pressed done, I didn't get to put in my email either, so that was a waste of being irritated for me too.

AbbyMumsnet · 30/06/2008 16:50

Congratulations to our foxythesnowfox who wins £150 of vouchers for bebeco; and runners up, Bobblehat and Appledumpling who've each won £50 of vouchers. Thanks to everyone who took the time to fill in the survey.
