How has a man been able to post his penis on one of forces sweethearts posts??

thought after the child abuse pictures a few months ago this shit wouldn’t be possible again??

I have reported so many times but they don’t care it’s been an hour and still up.

AlphaFemaleNotBeta · 02/08/2025 07:38

He posted on that thread 25th July and followed up with his disgusting picture a week later

AlphaFemaleNotBeta · 02/08/2025 07:39

Have you emailed Mumsnet? Surely someone must be on the nightshift until 8am

AlphaFemaleNotBeta · 02/08/2025 07:40

I created a thread on this before I saw this thread- as I was so angry at mnhq inaction

LoudSnoringDog · 02/08/2025 07:40

I unfortunately saw the children pics at the time and was horrified. Big talk of making sure processes were in place……….disgraceful

I reported

I would have thought this was pretty basic stuff ( for a multimillion pound online platform)

I thankfully missed the children but this poster has had his picture up for an hour. Nightshift must be sleeping?

Simonjt · 02/08/2025 07:42

Shock horror MN lied about their new ‘screening process’.

AlphaFemaleNotBeta · 02/08/2025 07:42

Did someone remove the screening of photographs for some reason? I don’t understand how he could post that

DorothyWainwright · 02/08/2025 07:44

Is someone dodgy / incompetent working in the screening / IT team or something? I thought nothing was posted without a check?

Think they just pressed approve to a load of photographs without individual scrutiny? No image is automatically uploaded and always under review until it is manually approved

AuldTheDeepMinded · 02/08/2025 07:50

Have reported this thread in the hope it helps flag the issue

AlphaFemaleNotBeta · 02/08/2025 07:51

He is still there

Rituelec · 02/08/2025 07:53

Mumsnet is such a shambles these days.

BlueyNeedsToFuckOff · 02/08/2025 07:54

There should really be an option to report an obscene photograph as a specific category. I also can’t understand how it got approved in the first place but it’s almost as bad that it’s taking so long to delete. I would have hoped MNHQ would be faster with this kind of thing following the whole CSA image debacle

Smallchangebigstep · 02/08/2025 07:54

I don't know what's more disturbing: the fact the photo was allowed to be posted despite the supposed screening process or the fact it wasn't removed as soon as it was reported.

Mynewnameis · 02/08/2025 07:55

Still there. Unbelievable

BeckyAMumsnet · 02/08/2025 09:36

Hi all. We're currently investigating why this image wasn’t blocked by our filters. It was posted at 6:23 am and removed shortly after 8 am.

Unfortunately, Mumsnet does attract a number of men who believe it's appropriate to post explicit images. Since introducing image filters, these posts have been successfully screened and blocked - until now. We're looking into why this one got through. To clarify - it was not approved by a moderator!

MsDDxx · 02/08/2025 10:49

Is there not a way to block the posting of images at night? This is when the dodgy ones seem to be posted.

MoonWoman69 · 02/08/2025 10:52

@BeckyAMumsnet I assumed after the inappropriate photographs of children, that all images were now held for approval before being allowed through?
I don't think the excuse of no-one approving the photo stands, someone must have done, seeing as all others seem to have to be approved?

I think they’re automated and this one slipped through the filter.

Possibly because his face was apparently in it.

Not really good enough

NotPerfectlyAdverage · 02/08/2025 11:22

Sounds like it's not being checked by a human by mnhq response

All images are run through the filter before appearing on the site (this is why there is a slight delay when posting images). If the AI deems it okay, then it appears. Images that are flagged for review are not shown on the site until approved by a moderator. In this case, the image was not flagged for review, which we are investigating.

I don’t think the approving process is done by an actual human. Images appear pretty quickly after being posted.
