I usually make a 2 egg version, and cook for 5 minutes.

Sometimes I fold fresh blueberries in just before cooking - they end up mostly at the bottom but it becomes a sort of blueberry upside-down cake.

Last week I added almond essence and cherries; t'was a huge hit.

Thanks for the link above to the gooey chocolate cake. Looks fab. that's breakfast sorted then

OMG!! My DH thinks I'm a kitchen goddess as I produced this yesterday for pudding out of the blue. Didn't have syrup so used jam and made a 2 egg one (115g butter/flour/sugar) and cooked for 4mins as thought there may not be enough but there was and we have it again for pudding tonight - yippee.

He was raving to some friends we happened to see out last night and they were very impressed at such an exotic Friday eve dessert. I just looked nonchalant Grin

feel a fraud now

Had this evening with nutella instead of syrup. Very nice and dcs impressed with the rather instant nature of no pudding/pudding, ta daaahhhh which went on. We had it served with Aldi carton custard (which is the absolute dogs for about 50p and which you failed to add in your definitive shopping list).

Will be having this again.

I was rather disappointed with my chocolate version.

TBH I'm rather pleased!

Far be it from me to quibble, but that's more than 3 minutes. You've got the 3 minutes in the microwave, plus the time spent in putting it together and mixing it, plus more time in weighing things out and washing up.

Looks grim.

On the plus side I'd skip pudding if that was the only offering, so at least I'd save the calories .ð???

I made this last night - everything bunged straight in the bowl, then scraped to one side once mixed and the syrup squeezed straight into the bottom. Came out perfectly and only one bowl and a whisk to wash Smile

On the top of booze, a dash of Amaretto would be nice ...

I think I'm gonna do this tomorrow, and serve it with cream. YUM!!

I've made this for decades (honestly).

I do a 4,4,4,2 mix and cook for longer.

I think this was the first think we did with our brand new kitchen c1985.

We all stood in front of it watching it rise Grin

I do this and variants of, regularly.
