It's stereotypical and lazy.

But why is that surprising? They are your kids.

DrNick · 24/01/2014 07:08

absolutely agree with drnick. Have one teen left at home...is fine, pleasant and good company, not grunting either. I think I probably grunt more than him.:)

DrNick · 24/01/2014 07:11

Pig. ;)

I couldn't believe he is still only 19 DrNick, how can that be? Shock

DS1 is only 14 so is a bit grunty. Sad

ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 24/01/2014 07:12

I didnt say it was surprising.

I was just saying that I associate the picture with good loving kids and not negatively. And that teens may often look or act a certain way but they are generally lovely, loving people. And that imo, a teen slobbing out on the sofa with some pizza isnt a negative looking image.

DrNick · 24/01/2014 07:17

Whoopsie. I did a chaos! Grin

notso · 24/01/2014 07:21

Stealth boast!
I think the logo needs to change, no one wears boot cut trousers anymore do they?

neiljames77 · 24/01/2014 07:21

Mine argue and fight over everything. Clothes, make up, hair straighteners, hair curlers. The latter two are often used as weapons.
Outside of the house, they are polite and well mannered.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 24/01/2014 07:22

I am so glad I am not the only person who fears they may actually be eaten themselves if the food runs out.

I have never in my life known anyone that can eat like my ds1. How can you eat an enormous dinner, and 34 minutes later (yes I timed it) be eating cereal??

And he is a skinny as a bloody rake. He is trying to put weight on
The amount of food we go through is beyond belief.

Tbh laying on the sofa is a pretty accurate representation of ds1 when he is at home. Laying on the sofa with iPod on twitter.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 24/01/2014 07:24

Oh and mine fight and argue in the house.

Outside of the house, if anyone was to insult the other one or whatever, they would leap in to defend them. Even though 10 minutes ago they hated each other.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 24/01/2014 07:25

I don't think the teenager picture is that bad. He's a nice looking kid, clean and in nice surroundings.

neiljames77 · 24/01/2014 07:28

He should also have a speech bubble saying, "in a minute" because that's the default response to any request to do anything from mine.

ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 24/01/2014 07:29

My sons' friend is like that. As far through as a bus ticket and eats all day.

we pick him up to take him to school. He has just had his breakfast. He gets in the car and unwraps what was supposed to be a morning break snack. He has a bacon roll or something at morning break. He has a huge cooked school lunch. He eats a massive dinner and more snacks. First time he came round to ours, his mum said hes got a really big appetite and I looked at this skinny minnie and thought yeah, right...

then watched as he ate 2 full dinners and cleared all the snacks id bought for his visit.

meanwhile, I look at a crisp and put on half a stone. Angry

ive changed my mind. I dont like teens.

Grin
DrNick · 24/01/2014 07:33

Tantrums agree. The skinny thing also weird

Am I the only person thinking 24 meatballs was never going to be enough for 5 adults, my 3 year old eats 5!

Sparklingbrook · 24/01/2014 07:36

DS1 like a pre-dinner dinner. Two toasted sandwiches with baked beans generally. Confused

DrNick · 24/01/2014 07:42

wah - i only have two

OP posts:
DrNick · 24/01/2014 07:42
