It was all in columns, with proper headings, and looked all professional ...

Mine looks identical to last week's. I have no columns, I have no Times New Roman. I've been robbed.

You're sure it was the MN newsletter and not, say, the Playmobil newsletter? Because Playmobil do good newsletters.

Why does BIWI's newsletter have bells and whistles while mine is bog standard? Why? I post regularly, I don't troll, I'm always reasonable - where am I going wrong?

I think we sent out two versions to test which gets better response - ie clicks back to threads, open rates etc. One aim is to make it shorter and clearer/easier to read based on feedback we got from a survey we did a few months back.
It's v much a work in progress - don't think we've quite got there yet - please do add any thoughts/ideas/gripes.

I prefer the old style. Sorry, Justine. It was easier to read - you started at the beginning and read through to the end. If you wanted to find out more, you could click on the specific link. There is no need for the tabs, which just makes it more complicated.

It stops being a summary of Mumsnet, and becomes a pseudo, short version of Mumsnet, which is too complicated. Given that I already receive the round-up and the Mumsnet recommends newsletters, this becomes too much and I can't be bothered with it.

However, I suppose if you're not a very, very regular MNetter, it could be a useful way to enage with the site.

Just not for me because I'm here all the bloody time!

Oh dear- the experiment didn't work then... because I usually click through a couple of links from the newletter, but clicked on none this week because I was v busy earlier.

Didn't like it (grumpy)

Too bright, couldn't see it all on my phone (not app) and like Cap Nancy I didn't click through on anything. Just huffed and deleted.
