This one from Phil and Ted's. It could be fab for going on the bus, but do you think it would be easy to push?

MrsGordonRamsay · 13/08/2005 14:29

There are buggy addicts on here someone will have one.

NomDePlume · 13/08/2005 14:29

I suppose you could drag it behind you like an old ladies shopping trolley

laughorcry · 13/08/2005 14:30

don't mean to be rude, but it looks like an old lady's shopping trolley

NomDePlume · 13/08/2005 14:30

I think they must be on something in the Phil & Teds Design Dept....

laughorcry · 13/08/2005 14:30

doh - too late

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 13/08/2005 14:30

Almost as bad as the E3! Horrible looking things!!!

Lmccrean · 13/08/2005 14:33

think it could be a strain on your wrists after a bit..id prob forget to keep tipping it back.

bran · 13/08/2005 14:34

I think you could be right about them being on something NDP. On the travel accessories part of the site they show a mother working at her desk while her baby is happily sitting in a portable chair attached to the desk. In my world the child would be screaming, throwing toys or food or tearing up important papers.

Absolutely, bran !

charliecat · 13/08/2005 14:39

I would have loved that instead of humping babys and bags and everything in and out for a 7 minute bus journey.

bran · 13/08/2005 14:50

Somebody tell me they've tried one and it was rubbish, quickly, I can feel the mouse edging towards the "buy" button.

MrsGordonRamsay · 13/08/2005 14:52

I tried one and it was dreadful rubbish

MrsGordonRamsay · 13/08/2005 14:53

uncrosses fingers

bran · 13/08/2005 14:56

Thanks MGR , when did you try it?

Is anyone a more convincing liar than MGR?

stacijc · 13/08/2005 15:41

it looks like it broken!!!

sorry but i had to be honest....looks like some bugger robbed the front wheels.

its a good idea in theory but i have lowliner buses where i live so is easy to get trolleys on and off even doubles.

misdee · 13/08/2005 15:44

go on buy it, tell me if its any good lol

fuzzywuzzy · 13/08/2005 15:48

Why not stick the baby in a wheelbarrow and have done with it.... I like the E3 explorer though..have one of those!!!!

bran · 13/08/2005 15:49

misdee don't encourage me. I'm a little worried that if I hang anything over the handlebar, like a nappy bag, then it'll throw the balance off and it'll be an effort to stop it from falling over backwards when pushing it.

bran · 13/08/2005 15:51

fw , a weelbarrow wouldn't be that useful for buses would it? Otherwise not a bad idea, especially if I had a little pop-up tent to keep the rain off ds.

OP posts:
steffee · 13/08/2005 16:30

I think it looks brilliant and would buy it if we didn't have 'easy access' buses round here.

MarsLady · 13/08/2005 17:39

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!

Skribble · 13/08/2005 22:24

I have to say it looks like its missing two wheels, I'm sure its great for nipping on and of buses but you ca't put bags on it and I'm sure once baby is biggar it will not be so perfectly balanced you must have to take some weight when you tip it back.

I had a three wheeler and wished I had got a swivel wheel as it got heavy having to tip it up to turn when in shops etc. Great for more rugged terrain. I don't think this is great for either, plus you would still have to lift or bump up steps onto trains or buses which would be hard with chld in.

I found it easiest to use small folding buggy and put baby in front carrier before bus arrived, I loved the train though as i could take carrige built Silvercross on it.

zippy539 · 13/08/2005 22:39

I love it!!!! Almost tempted to have another baby so I can try it out. Only half joking...

diva4mgl · 13/08/2005 23:01

wow, does look like wheelbarrow, but it may be a good idea.
anyone tried and tested?
