cupcakes · 01/07/2005 12:36

God I love Gap. And you don't have to wait 6 months for a sale. I worked there many years ago and we got 50% off.

flashingnose · 01/07/2005 12:36

God I need to go shopping - I haven't been to anywhere but my local high street and Tescos since Christmas .

fishfinger · 01/07/2005 12:36

flashingnose · 01/07/2005 12:39

DD2 hates shopping and dh is always working.

But this weekend, there may be a small window...but we have no money. AAARGH!!!

Cod, you definitely need to take me in hand re wardrobe - am sadly out of date and bag lady-ish.

fishfinger · 01/07/2005 12:40

flashingnose · 01/07/2005 12:41

Enid · 01/07/2005 12:41

yes lets do it

where is southhampton isnt it miiiiles away

flashingnose · 01/07/2005 12:42

You offer people style tips!! So you either have some yourself or are very opinionated.

Hmmm...

Gillian76 · 01/07/2005 12:45

Cupcakes, I think I will go for this in turquoise

What do you think? Don't know whether to get it now cos there's 10% off and it's low stock???

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 12:48

That's the one I want! (except in crocus)
It's hard to say... if there's only one left (although how can you tell?) it would be worth buying it now if you really want it. Or you could buy it now with the mumsnet 10% and if it's still in stock when the sale begins buy it again and return the pricey one (norty!)
Would be frustrating though if you buying it means there are no more to reduce (iyswim!)

Lucycat · 01/07/2005 12:49

Ok , have never bought Boden, but I might just splurge a little on the dd's! how are the sizes? generous? smallish? dd1 is just 5 but is tall (she wears Next at least an age 6, sometimes 7 !!) So what sizes do I go for?

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 12:50

I think the chidren's trousers are generous but the tops and dresses are on the small size.

Enid · 01/07/2005 12:50

lucycat - sound the same as mine (she wears 6 & & next)

I would go for the 5/6 if you dont mind it just lasting a season. the fleece tops are definitely generous. the tshirts not so.

the 7/8 is HUGGGGGGGGGGE

Enid · 01/07/2005 12:50

sorry thats 6&7 next

Gillian76 · 01/07/2005 12:51

OK have bought it and will get another if I find one in the sale later! Off for lunch now

Lucycat · 01/07/2005 12:56

Thanks Enid, I am now compiling a list of desirables! dh is away tonight so he won't be able to complain if I stay up all night with the credit card!!
