Fio2 · 23/06/2005 18:09

oh no it is CLIT Bang in our house you have to con these kids you know so they dont know what you are talking about

CountessDracula · 23/06/2005 18:11

I bought a funny cloth from waitrose for a fiver that does the trick. Wipe it down then buff with the cloth. Only have SS cooker, not sink

hatstand · 23/06/2005 18:58

posts like this get me so excited - a chance to be evangelical about eco-cloths. They come in two types, one gets the muck and grease off and one polishes - and you don;t need any cleaning fluid they are the BEST thing ever for stainless steel (and chrome, and mirrors)even if you're not a cleaning type person you'll find yourself wandering round the house looking for things to polish

hatstand · 23/06/2005 18:59

I can see CD has managed to maintain a more dignified approach to eco cloths. fiver from Waitrose - almost ertainly the same thing

Stilltrue · 23/06/2005 19:20

Stainless steel - use Cif cream on a damp cloth, wipe over with a clean damp cloth. The key to shiny stainless steel is then to buff it dry with kitchen towel or a teatowel.
The cif has a similar consistency to barkeeper's friend once you've added the water.
My God, how sad am I? Just off now to flick and spray my hair like Bree.

Mum2Ela · 23/06/2005 19:26

Havent' read other peoples reccommendations but I would recommend Astonish. Its a gritty paste and it 10x better than the creams (I know, I am using cream atm cos my Astonish has run out).

A tub will last you about 6 mths - serious!

From Lakeland iirc.

hatstand · 23/06/2005 22:28

sorry - getting over excited - they're called e-cloths, not eco-cloths

nailpolish · 24/06/2005 11:23

hatstand - what do you use?
