Thanks everyone. I actually am waiting to be sterlised I was so adamant I would never had another one. The thought terrifies me so am going to look into hypnobirthing and possibly a little bit of counselling about the birth (I know I sound pathetic but I was so traumatised after taking four days to give birth I said never again).

Not sure finacially how I will cope, dd's dad as shocked as me and will have a good talk as though I do have a well paid job, I'm not sure I could manage everything with two. I'm also very aware due to my age things may not actually get there so to speak so just taking things a week at a time. Due beg of Jan (same as dd!!)

I have only told family as have several friends trying with no luck or who have had MC and there's me do it once (sorry TMI!!) and get caught out like a teenager.

Hence the thought about the black xt footmuff, will buy a bug cam and poss a bee (though I hated it) to keep as a car rear facer. Not buying anyting else though for quite some time.

lillypie · 10/06/2009 11:25

Did you get drunk on holiday carrielou

I am very

Stop worrying about you age I was 42 when I had Isobel you will be fine!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/06/2009 11:41

So tempted by that vigour. If only it was a 4. I think the 4 would be more stable with a toddler. I loved the one I had.
Do they all have air tyres now? It looks like it in pic.
Damn thought I had made all of my pushchair purchases!

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/06/2009 11:44

slightly reduced Vigour 4! eek!

5inthebed · 10/06/2009 11:54

Dunoon, you can get the 2009 ones off Ebay for the same

mamamila · 10/06/2009 11:54

hello, can i ask a question of you pushchair experts please?

I'll have newborn and just 2 yo very soon so having the whole double dilemma.

i've decided to go for a mountain buggy single for carrycot (emirates lost first MB but still have cc) for first couple months- lookng on ebay for bargain and a phil & ted for solo trips with both dd's
i was tempted by mb double but think it's too wide for front door

but which phil & ted is best? sport/ dash or vibe?

thanks

basl · 10/06/2009 11:59

lillypie · 10/06/2009 12:19

Hi mamamilla I think most people prefer the sport but I am sure the P@T experts will be along soon

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 12:31

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 10/06/2009 12:31

Don't know about the P&T types I'm afraid.
basi I used the vigour when DD was 2.2 ish yrs. She is small and her legs were tight in the footrest bit. Puts me off it a bit and I really should not be buying anything! The seat was fine for her and hood high enough.

mamamila · 10/06/2009 12:33

thanks lilypie

carrielou2007 · 10/06/2009 12:48

Yay Dis! I've told dd's dad to get the snip (especially as the surgery I work in on a weds my clinic is next door to the vasectomy clinic!!)

Did have quite a few sherbets whilst on holiday Lillypie, something else to worry over. Had some prvate tests last week and everything looks ok but you just never know do you. Still, no wine or beer for me but now not on atkins it's all bread, jacket pots and a fair bit of chocolate insted!!

Now then, how long will Nicola keep this buggy before the itch to change happens

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 12:51

I think I should complain to that ebay company though,

how can it give such a pink line??

the 2nd one was just a really pale line, not as dark as that but CBDigital says BFN so Im going with that.

Was a nightmare though, I bought it, got to the car went to put it in my handbag and the box was empty

Had to run back with DD, explain (whilst feeling like they were think I took it) all whilst trying not to let my mum see what I was buying!

Gah!

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 12:53
