which new buggy to get...

I have narrowed it down to 2

chicco ct) or ink{http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/bruhome/brutravel/brutravelpushchairs/brutravelpushchairsstrollers/703338cosatto helix

which do you like? and why? I love the colour of the chicco, but the cosatto might be more practical. cosatto also looks a bit more padded....

Gawd, I don't know. Aren't they both pretty much the same ? I prefer the square hood on the cossatto, but prefer the colours of the chicco, although they would look grubby quickly. How old is your 'passenger' ?

starlover · 29/03/2005 14:10

he's only 7 weeks at the mo.. we have a big pram which I use most of the time, but want something smaller for when we're nipping in and out of places and don't wanna cart the pram around

Actually looking back at them and seeing the cosatto one from all angles, I like it more. It has a definite look of the Techno XT about it. I prefer the moulded rubber handles on that one to the foamy ones on the chicco.

NomDePlume · 29/03/2005 14:11

the hood also looks bigger on the cosatto, better coverage

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 29/03/2005 14:14

quite like the cosatto, does it come in another colour?

serenity · 29/03/2005 14:15

Another vote for the cosatto, but I'm swayed by the fact that the handles are adjustable - that might not be an issue for you. It seems better value too!

starlover · 29/03/2005 14:18

i think the cosatto only comes in that colour. I agree about the handles too, as I am quite tall. and the shopping basket looks a bit better...

BUT

I am still being slightly swayed by the chicco because I love the colour LOL...

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 29/03/2005 14:19

but that colour would get grubby and tired looking pretty early on, IME....

Sponge · 29/03/2005 14:20

I prefer the Cosatto, but if you buy three of the Chiccos you can save yourself £1.53!

starlover · 29/03/2005 14:22

ok.. who else wants a chicco! I'll share the £1.53 with you!

You are right NDP... but i've never been a particularly sensible person! LOL
DP will probably say I can't buy either of them anyway

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 29/03/2005 14:22

then go with the cosatto cos tall people should not have to hunch over buggies. Your back takes enough grief picking up and putting down the babe!

Titania · 29/03/2005 14:37

i have got that cosatto one and its great. its stylish and we got the matching changing bag and footmuff with it and ds2 loves it!! the handles are quite high on it though and me being short it can make my wrists hurt a bit. I have had a chicco one before and TBH i had nothing but trouble with it and would never have one again.

starlover · 29/03/2005 14:40

how tall are you titania? (if you don't mind me asking!)

OP posts:
Titania · 29/03/2005 14:41

5ft 5.

NomDePlume · 29/03/2005 14:42

I had the Techno XT with adjustable handles and it was great for me, I'm 5'7". I assume the cosatto has the same sort of handle heights to the XT.

almost40 · 29/03/2005 14:45

How much does the cosatto weigh? I like the cosatto.

starlover · 29/03/2005 14:48

I am 5'9 so either would probably be fine for me...

oh, decisions decisions!
the cosatto doesn't have a weight on it... will see if I can find it anywhere else

OP posts:
Titania · 29/03/2005 14:48

yes the handles do adjust on the cosatto one

starlover · 29/03/2005 14:51

oh nooooooooo

i went to glasgow pram centre and they have even more!
too
much
choice

OP posts:
Bozza · 29/03/2005 15:03

Would definitely rule the chicco out based on the totally impractical colour alone.

starlover · 29/03/2005 15:13

even if I wrap ds in clingfilm?
