Now where can i buy them?

Many moons ago someone suggested Hawkins Bazaar but i cannot see them

Anyone remember what fun they were - so lovely to look at too!!

Polydron (also caled CLIXI)?

Not just hexagons but lots of different shapes that slot together to make solid shapes. Is this any good?

Great fun and educational too.

DD has Octons at her nursery too.
In fact, I think I had them as a child too!
Didn't like them though -too restrictive compared with lego!

yes thankyou they are ALMOST them but these 1970's versions were clear and shiny in like deep reds and oranges....

my younger brother had them born in 1962

i had the original spirograph he had the original spirotot

i had the original lego

i watched the first ever broadcast of dr who

my dad claimed he asked for iot to be immediately repeated as my sister missed it (he worked for the bbc)

first spirograph was 1966 i think..i still have it

what i wish i had was a game called everest with little climbers

I have bought some original playplax from Ebay

in originla box et al made by Trendon toys - VERY VERY PLEASED - being wrapped for xmas as i type!

It was those, stickle bricks and those coloured sticks of wood that came in shorter and longer lengths we always used to arrange them so they went down like a stairase I think they were to help us in maths. What were they caled?
