Been done a million times; but I still can't find any solid wood white bunkbeds [sad]

Here are my requirements:

  1. No cheap/flimsy ones, good sturdy solid wood please.
  2. Must be able to split into 2 singles.
  3. Not boxy square ones.
  4. Ideally can have a truckle bed underneath.
  5. In ideal world would have a matching wardrobe, chest and bedside cabinet.

At a push I'll have to pay the prices and go to Aspace as they seem to be the only people who satisfy all of this.

Just thought I'd give it one last go on here in the hope of finding it a bit cheaper.

missblythe, we went to see the feather&black one - it's lovely. Were just really disappointed that the wardrobe to match was a baby-sized one.

I really like your 2nd link too- it's already a contender but I've found it here cheaper.

Ah, you found it cheaper too but I think your one includes a truckle which is fab! If it does, that's the one I'm having. I phoned about the one in my link earlier today and they said they couldn't do a truckle with it.

Thank you! I knew I could rely on the mners to come up with the goods. Just need some furniture to match now....

have you tried www.chicshack.net?

They do solid white bunk beds that are quite nice but I don't know if they fit all your requirements.

sweetpea and willow are good for this sort of thing but i dont think they have bunks atm [not helpful]

pootleflump · 11/07/2008 20:26

I like chicshack but they don't seem to have prices on their website, I used to have a price list but it'll be well out of date now.

yes it's a bit odd like that. They have quite long delivery times too. But might be worth a call.

Oooh, those chic shack bunks are lovely. How weird that they don't have prices though!

pisses me off when places dont list prices. why on earth do they want to make it more difficult/complicated for you to buy from them? totally counterintuitive imo.
