I particularly like the lists

Although she doesn't seem to have invented someone to come and do the things on my to do list for me yet...

Well, yes, hunkemunker, that's why I'm attracted to it.

Yurtgirl · 14/07/2008 20:38

I am an alcoholic a stationery fanatic.
Im thinking about doing some stuff with the OU partly to use prviously unused stationery purchases

nkf · 14/07/2008 21:05

Oh no. You must find a course that requires new stationary. A type of notepad that you haven't already bought.

Yurtgirl · 14/07/2008 21:13

You are quite right nkf - I must buy new!

robinpud · 14/07/2008 21:18

Why is this nicer than a plain book with beautiful cover from Paperchase or similar please?

missblythe · 14/07/2008 21:36

Hunker, are you one of their fundraisers?

How do I buy thru you then, so you get part of the money I spend? (if you even are one!)

andyrobo237 · 14/07/2008 21:40

I bought the pocket one last year and it is fab! I will get a new one this year, but am I right in thinking that hunkermum may have an incentive in buying though her (as I like to keep business 'local' - so if you get points or credit let me know how I order via you!)

May need to get a wall planner though as well - furtively checks how much she has in Paypal account!!!

andyrobo237 · 14/07/2008 21:40

x posts with missblythe!!!

hunkermunker · 14/07/2008 22:17

Just click the link in the OP - thank you

A new course in order to use stationery? And purchase further stationery? Good idea!

[orders prospectuses]

Robinpud, because it has all sorts of handy spaces in which to write useful stuff.

Oooh dead excited - just ordered a pocket life book for this year again!! Just saving up in my Paypal for a calendar!

SoupDragon · 18/07/2008 21:07

MummyToOneForNow, there are 35 pages of perforated notes (about 1/3 of the book). One side of each page is to do/plans for the wee and the other is shopping list/ meal ideas

SoupDragon · 18/07/2008 21:10

I was all set to order a cover for my pocket life book only to discover they don't come in the lovely sage green

fairibell · 18/07/2008 22:48

which one should I buy...

need to keep a few dates for me and my husband (not too many really, just where going at weekends etc) and suppose for my daughter (8weeks - so doesnt do much)

will be starting a nanny job in october too looking after 9month old and 4 year old so would be times i am working too...

would the pocket life book be too small to have times i am working, appointments in one box?

SoupDragon · 19/07/2008 08:52

The boxes in the diary bit of the pocket Lifebook are 7.5cm x 1.7cm. In addition there's a "list" page on the left hand side of each double page spread with shopping list, meal ideas and to do list. There is also a double page spread with "to do in " page and " at a glance" at the start of each month.

AnAngelWithin · 19/07/2008 09:29

ok, someone convince me why I should buy one of these instead of sticking to my lovely filofax that DH bought me last year!!

AnAngelWithin · 19/07/2008 09:31

i like the look of tha magnetic family organiser but theres only 5 columns in it. theres 6 of us

butwhybutwhy · 19/07/2008 09:35

I'm in a quandry.

Do I buy one now or do I wait till my current life book runs out in December?

Ooooh what to do?

Hulababy · 19/07/2008 10:16

My order arrived next day I have the pocket life book and the home planner calendar - calendar already full of my stickers Have the meal planner thing too which looks good. The shopping list planner bit is good.
