Has anyone just giving up trying to find the right bra with larger breasts

I’m now unfortunately a uk KK cup and find it impossible to find a bra that fits. Over the last couple of months I can’t even count how many deliveries I’ve had of bras and none of them fit correct. The bra I’m currently wearing is spilling out so much and is so uncomfortable but nothing else is fitting. And why are larger cup bras so expensive I’m at the point where I literally can’t afford them either. Having such big boobs is such a pain. Anyone else struggle with this?

Assuming you’re not a troll (I apologise if not) then Bravissimo have KK sizes. Best to try and go in person the first time.

I'm an F cup and have trouble finding one with the right support that's not wired and doesn't look like something from my aunty Mavis's wardrobe.

IvePiercedMyFootOnASpike · 09/11/2025 15:17

Bravissimo ultimate comfort goes up to L cup and looks good. They've loads on their website. Freya also.
There's no point going to standard clothes shops, but there's loads of choice on line.

You just have to buy a few and return the wrong ones, unfortunately.

Bravissimo Amelia is really comfy, same size and I’m wearing it now

gingertomfromnextdoor · 09/11/2025 15:47

Try https://www.amplebosom.com/ they’re great. Lots of brands, choice and sizes

Rigby and Peller where the royal family go.

I go to an independent shop and get fitted , I was a 38 jj the first time I went . I have never had an ill fitting bra since I started going . Stop with the online bras and find an actual shop.

Frumpitydoo · 13/11/2025 02:54

No use to OoP, sorry, but I've found George Asda the best by far for larger bras up to an hour cup.

Thetruthisoutfinally · 13/11/2025 03:07

I have tried buying on-line with similar results op, For something you wear every single day, that affects your posture and your back, and how all the rest of your clothes look, and your ability to do sport, it is really worth saving up by selling clothes on Vinted, or taking on a side hustle, or giving up coffee and cake, and buying three to five bras per year at a specialist shop where you get properly fitted. Look for on-line recommendations on your local Facebook pages. And then really look after them, washing them by hand in gentle laundry liquid.

If you are anywhere near Faversham, Kent there is a great independent shop there.

Aubade are my go to, they are expensive so I buy online in the sale. They last beautifully though and are made very well. Try them on in a shop to see if they work for you.

Nat6999 · 13/11/2025 03:30

I'm wearing Body & Bra, styled very much like unwired sports bras but very comfortable for times you don't want to feel like you are in armour.

Panache envy full cup is a good bra - gives a nice shape and not insanely expensive- especially if you are able to get a colourway on sale. Goes up to a K, but if you go up a band size, it should fit you instead of a KK.

Agreed, I have 3 if them. Lovely bras, they start off quite tight but stretch to fit after a few wears.

Yes and god forbid anyone with large norks has a mastectomy - bras for those circumstances simply don’t exist!

I buy from VERY so I can try different sizes/styles and keep the best ones. Am done being manhandled in shops and Bravissimo have never been helpful, not once.

frenella · 13/11/2025 06:01

You will save so much money in the long run if you go to an independent bra boutique that has the time & expertise to fit you properly. You will get a bra that costs 100 quid but will fit and will last. I favour the Wacoal range - retro chic is the one I wear :)

Nevereatcardboard · 14/11/2025 22:52

I have scoliosis and I gave up trying to find bras that fitted many years ago. I wear stretchy crop tops and I’m a lot more comfortable now. I’ll never go back to wearing proper bras again!

PurplePotatoes · 14/11/2025 22:55

I know what you mean. I’m a G cup. Went for a fitting at M&S, must have tried on 25 bras - the poor woman was back and forth - and only 2 in the whole shop fitted correctly, neither of which I liked. So frustrating.

Keroppi · 14/11/2025 22:58

Brastop goes up quite big and has nice things. The Polish brands are often the most generous sizing

Agoddessonamountaintop · 15/11/2025 00:19

I’ve done the rounds for the last 30 years: Peter Jones, R&P, Bravissimo, Debenhams, House of Fraser, even M&s, plus various independents. I’ve had many bras that ‘fit’, but they’ve always given me shoulder pain. Until a particular fitter at Bravissimo found me a Niya bra, just because I needed a certain colour for under a dress. It was only halfway through the day that I realised my shoulders weren’t aching; of course I bought several more and also the Satine model which gives an even better shape but still comfortable.
I’m a 32H (at the moment),
Unfortunately I think it’s a matter of perservering until you find the right one for you, which in my experience is more likely to be at Bravissimo. They’re pretty good at returns if you’re not happy, even after you’ve worn them for a bit.

They run very small
