Has anyone just giving up trying to find the right bra with larger breasts

I’m now unfortunately a uk KK cup and find it impossible to find a bra that fits. Over the last couple of months I can’t even count how many deliveries I’ve had of bras and none of them fit correct. The bra I’m currently wearing is spilling out so much and is so uncomfortable but nothing else is fitting. And why are larger cup bras so expensive I’m at the point where I literally can’t afford them either. Having such big boobs is such a pain. Anyone else struggle with this?

I know what you mean. I’m a G cup. Went for a fitting at M&S, must have tried on 25 bras - the poor woman was back and forth - and only 2 in the whole shop fitted correctly, neither of which I liked. So frustrating.

A g cup is very easy to fit

No use to OoP, sorry, but I've found George Asda the best by far for larger bras up to an hour cup.

They don't go to her size

I’ve done the rounds for the last 30 years: Peter Jones, R&P, Bravissimo, Debenhams, House of Fraser, even M&s, plus various independents. I’ve had many bras that ‘fit’, but they’ve always given me shoulder pain. Until a particular fitter at Bravissimo found me a Niya bra, just because I needed a certain colour for under a dress. It was only halfway through the day that I realised my shoulders weren’t aching; of course I bought several more and also the Satine model which gives an even better shape but still comfortable.
I’m a 32H (at the moment),
Unfortunately I think it’s a matter of perservering until you find the right one for you, which in my experience is more likely to be at Bravissimo. They’re pretty good at returns if you’re not happy, even after you’ve worn them for a bit.

Niya doesn't go to her size

I like the Elomi Morgan. Bravissimo do this to a L.

Depends how narrow in the back you are. Most places stocking larger cup sizes don't do below a 34' band. And those stocking smaller bands don't often go over an f cup. It's very frustrating!

I've always found Bravissimo really helpful - surprised to read pp poor experience.

I absolutely feel your pain. I am a JJ cup. When I was pregnant all I wanted was a soft cotton non wired breastfeeding bra and some similarly soft bras to wear around the house when I was post partum. No such thing exists. I was able to get one from Royce but it was a horrible synthetic fabric and all I remember is feeling uncomfortable and dirty.
Four years on and I’m about to have breast surgery for DCIS. There are no bras suitable for post surgery in my size. Probably the lowest time in my life and I cannot find something comfortable. Get so sick of Bravissimo being wheeled out the time here. The stock is not that expansive. Also sick of having to spend the best part of 50 quid everytime I need a bra.

I'm a similar size and only wear Molke now.

No more underwires.

I went to Pour Moi for their Sofia bra as it has side support and it was raved about. It has an extra thing that pushes the boob flesh forward from under the armpit. It is the first every bra I haven't wanted to remove as soon as possible. I am "only" a 34FF so 34 underneath and 42 full breast. They go up to a J cup, but double up cup sizes so DD, EE, FF, GG and HH.

I agree try an independent bra shop and get fitted. The lady who fitted me was incredibly knowledgeable about the bras and what comes up big or small and what works for very soft breast tissue as I am over 50. Over the years I have been to Bravissimo plus the usual M&S etc. I have had the bra for 6 months, washes beautifully too.

Second vote for Elomi, fantastic bras.

Ihaveausername · 16/11/2025 14:49

Body and bra supportive comfort bra really works for me. Got the support without the wires!

Sorry that's really annoying, I should've checked. Fwiw, I don't love Bravissimo, I just got lucky on that particular day so suggested it might be worth persevering. I also have couple of Molkes which are the best soft bras I've tried, but I got them when I had a broken wrist and couldn't do up the fasteners; they're not really supportive enough for me to wear outside the house.
