<applauds wildly> i needed help with an Ikea chair <keeps clapping> and Serenity (who works there) offered to buy me one and post it to me! <wolf whistles> HOW COOL IS SHE? And how cool is MN? <jumps up and down>

seriously, this blooming kids' chair has been out of stock in Scotland for months, and i was looking for alternatives on here...

up pops the wonderful Serenity (who Will Not provide me with her address so that i can send a wee something of thank you) to offer to check stock availability where she works, she explains what the issue is and then IN HER OWN TIME goes back into work ON HER DAY OFF to get it, package it up and lug it to the Post Office.

that is freaking unbelievably kind of her, is it not?

aren't MNers amazing?!

for Piffle's online sofa-buying experience

I was sad the other day - I wanted to buy baby Poangs for the boys and they were in stock when I checked one day and not the next

So we didn't go.

But when they're next in stock, we're there

Piffle · 05/02/2008 22:55

hunker me too
the baby poangs are a bugger to get hold of, making me very cross indeed

AitchTwoOh · 05/02/2008 22:57

They have loads in Edmonton Ikea. If you ever bothered to wander over that way

hunkermunker · 05/02/2008 22:58

They're in stock at Edmonton!

Will have to go this weekend.

Don't all go before me, MNers, and buy them all.

Have only just got our big poangs, Piff - DS2's had the odd slurp in there, but I would imagine they're v comfy to bf a weeny baby in.

hunkermunker · 05/02/2008 23:00

Shizaru, who are you?!

They WERE in stock at Edmonton, then they weren't. You had a kidney infection the day we were going to go there - and it was a last-minute thing.

We went to Wembley instead. And had meatballs. The boys love 'em

Brent Cross.

God, I'm weird - I would actually go shopping All The Time if I had the money.

Maybe I'm a WAG.

Klaw · 05/02/2008 23:03

I bf my baby in a red leather poang with oak frame, btw!

would love to get one for dd..................

Shizaru · 05/02/2008 23:08

Like You Dont Know

I'm shocked and appalled at the lot of you.

Think somewhere between u and w, Lapin.

Then think it again.

And again.

Shizaru · 05/02/2008 23:12

Shizaru, for a pedant LL, honestly

I've just changed, you can work it out. You are jolly good at researching namechangers

hunkermunker · 05/02/2008 23:14

I keep wanting to say shizzle my nizzle, Shiz.

Shizaru · 05/02/2008 23:16

Yes, but that is because you are weird I'm rather liking this new name.

hunkermunker · 05/02/2008 23:20

I think you will find you should've said, "that's cos you is weird" Shizzle, but I'll let you off this time.

C'mon, Lapin!
