I placed an order this morning using DS's credit card and email address so qualified for £10 off £50 for new customer and also used free p&p code.

cq - Aha! I know bits and pieces only though my kids are bi-lingual.

misdee - Is there only one charge there? Did any of your items cost £2.50? If so, they might have split up the order according to what was ready to send and you might get several parcels instead of one. Other than that, your best bet is probably to ring them if they haven't e-mailed you with a query or explanation.

whizzz - Trust me to get the wrong end of the stick. I don't know how cq tracked them down. I had a go for about 20 mins and got nowhere. Oh. Unless she just searched on things she fancied but wouldn't want to pay the full price for? She did say that she had a catalogue at home.

none of the items were £250 alone. they are sending out the parcels in 2 lots, as 2 items are in stock, which come to around 9quid they have confirmed dispatch of these 2 items today, the rest will follow later on. the other 8quid order is just one item.

misdee - That does sound odd. You or your dh haven't bought anything else in M&S recently, using that account? A quick sarnie at lunchtime or something?

nope. i only use that account for online purchases and direct debits for sky etc. havent even been into m and s for at least a month. and usually use cash.

misdee - Hmmm. I wondered if anything had been further reduced in the sale. Perhaps you could ring them and query it. I'm interested to hear the answer now!

Message for all:- I forgot to say that someone rang me from M&S yesterday after I placed an order and said that unfortunately, the red blanket (T350309) was now out of stock, and to try again in 7 days! So..........it may be that you can still get things that you've fancied but are now unavailable. If there is something you really like, try ringing them to see if they're expecting more in and when, or check the website regularly.

Also, if anyone spots anything they wished they'd put on their order, give M&S a ring and ask if you can add it on to the order you placed. I did that this morning and the new items will arrive a day or two later, but it'll be on the same order.
