SecondhandRose · 25/11/2004 16:40

I can't seem to find anything online at a bargain.

JoolsToo · 25/11/2004 17:06

go to the M& S website - in the search box either cut and paste in cq product number or trigger word eg 'lamp' and search - some of the stuff is now unavailable.

cellulitequeen · 25/11/2004 19:33

Hi folks, back on line. There's still loads of bargains to be had if you've got time to trawl through the M&S website (hence house in tip, no washing or ironing done for days, DS left to fend for self).

The nice M&S delivery man came to the CQ household today (we are now on first name terms - I feel like I've known him all my life) and delivered an enamel bread bin, £25 on label, paid £3 (all sold out now). Didn't really need a new bread bin but that's not the point is it?

cq - Thanks very very much!!! Dh is home and he's happy, too! I've got loads of things for just over £100 when one lamp alone would have cost £135 new. So.....diolch yn fawr iawn!

whizzz · 25/11/2004 19:52

But how do you find them - I've search clearance & sale & not found half the stuff you have !

tiptop · 25/11/2004 21:22

whizzz - This is what I did, step by step (if my memory serves me right):-

Mumsnet home page
Click on M&S advert
Click on the button for the £10 off if you spend £50 or more
Use the keyword or reference number box at the top to enter the codes that cq had given us and click search
I got confused (easily done by me!) by the Egyptian cotton one, though all I needed to do was scroll down to the bit where it says fitted and flat sheets, click on the colour (plum or charcoal) then it gives you the sizes available in that colour. I don't think they have it in single size, but you can just buy it in double and alter it I suppose if you want. (Sorry, I'm rambling)
If you find things that are available put them in your basket then return to shopping and continue.
Go to checkout when you've finished.
If you've spent £50 or more, it'll have deducted £10 for you. It tells you that a bit later on you'll need to enter a promotional code (PCDAFZ2) at the confirm and submit (or somesuch) stage. It doesn't really show you the £3.50 taken off, though it does confirm in writing that you entered a valid code and that you will not be charged p&p.
Hth and thanks again cq!

Thanks Tiptop but I had that bit sorted - I just wondered how the bargains were found in the first instance ! (ie without the codes)
