right i a little bit of a pramoholic so have had many pushchairs between my two kids and now i have just found out i am pregannt again and would like to take my time and try and find something perfect so i can have just the one or maybe two!!

dd will be just turning three so it needs to be sturdy enough to alow for a buggyboard of somesort

i have had a bugaboo and whilst that would be terrific i have to travel on the bus and taxis so it's not really practical just for the sheer fact that it folds in two pieces

it there anything remotely similar that fols one handed with the seat still attached

i was really keen on the buzz but it looks really hard to fold down if you had to hold baby at the same time

Mumofmonsters - Re Loola, woman in shop obviously didn't have a clue what she was talking about! I only used the handle to lift the loola into the car, never to fold the pram up with. Pushing on the handles always worked for me and never had a problem folding it rear facing. You just had to make sure that the seat was reclined fully.

MerlinsBeard · 16/01/2008 09:52

does it recline flat? when she folded it she showed us the thing you needed to pull by the shopping basket (the useless shopping basket loL!) and it was obscured by the seat. Obviously i couldn't look properly as i have a huge unmovable pregnant belly so just belived her!

sorry for hijack!

i think that it does lay flat as it's suitable from birth, if you go onto the kiddicare website they have like vidoe demos and they show you everything it does and how to fold it etc (thats where i always look to see the different buggies as mothercare is too far awayfrom here) hth

oh never thought of that!
Will go look now! thank you

Re Loola, I used to give mine a little kick from underneath the handle to help it fold down, it really is very easy! I never had a problem folding it rear facing either, it has a kind of self righting mechanism so the seat rotates so it fold into the right position.

Oh and one other thing - it is suitable from birth - they were all originally labelled as from 6 months but this was inaccurate and new labels had to be sent out, but obviously not evryone knows this!

hmmm interesting i wonder how much lighter the new loolas will be?

after a lot of thought last night and dh convncing me that the reason we got rid of the bugaboo last time was that it was too faffy trying to hold baby put the frame on and then mess around with the seat and then the same getting into a taxi and then finding somewhere in our mess we call a house to store it......i think i'm gonna go for a micralite toro as it folds in one piece!!
although i will prob change my mind by the end of today butthen thats the fun!

you will change your mind by the end of the day? How many times

new loola supposed to be lighter, its back on the list now it folds rear facing actually its the one on our list as it ticks all the boxes!

mustsleep · 17/01/2008 10:17

i know if it had big air tyres ould be perfect for me too, our street is really uneven, when dd was a baby we had the zapp wit the carseat on and when i was taking ds to school would just see her little head jiggly up and down .... you should see her now there has to be a reason for this behaviour!!

its because it DOESN'T have air tyres it ticks our boxes

apparently they are changing the suspension a bit on teh new one so its adjustable depending on age

morningglory · 17/01/2008 11:02

Saw one of these yesterday and had serious pushchair envy. Can't buy a new pushchair as already have 2 (one being brand new!). If I was in the market, I'd get one of these!
