Where to get a cheap, Ok double mattress...no Ikea anywhere near us!

Ds1 has been ill this week, twice all over the bed and the 'waterproof' thing wasn't on, not that it is much use anyway.

it is a 1970s mattress that came with our rather nice antique bed, and I kept as it was cleanish and I was going to give birth on it anyway.

I have two kids in bed with me and don't see that changing rapidly, so there are going to be further incidents over the next few years no doubt - not really worth getting a fabbo mattress, and I have less than no money.

I am looking therefore for something acceptable and cheap but not nasty, if you see what I mean - backache wouldn't do anyone any good!

suggestions gratefully received x

Can I interest you in any double bed bedding with matching curtains?

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 08/12/2007 18:22

Oh well thankyou, but I have way too much bedding, we are falling over it - well obviously not at the moment as it is all being washed, yuk, but there is plenty usually.

By the way, dark or milk choc, Nab?

NAB3littlemonkeys · 09/12/2007 10:54

Is he paying me or are you paypalling?

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 09/12/2007 12:24

Which do you prefer? I can do either - have just been to get out the £20 so will give him it or if you would prefer paypal today I can do that too

...sorry for the delay btw! Posted and ran. Four year old in the rain can take a surprisingly long time to walk half a mile and back
