do you know where I can get baby pasta from though?

Marina · 11/11/2007 20:40

I think it is interesting that these are being massively discounted...could this be because they are not selling...I've only seen one and the proud owners spent much of the evening jabbing at the pesky thing trying to get it to work

i agree, they are crap. just pick a photo you like and frame it...easy

emkana · 11/11/2007 20:41

I can't see why you can't just get a print of the photo and display it in a normal frame?

emkana · 11/11/2007 20:41

I'm buying one for my MIL for Christmas because I know she'll love it.

Kind of says it all really....

I also can't see the point of them. I like photographs, in boxes and in albums. I either frame favourites or stick them in those magnetic things for the fridge. Think digital ones are (whisper) a bit (ahem) tacky actually.

ShinyHappyRocketsGoingBANG · 11/11/2007 20:44

What are they then? Is it like a Harry Potter effect.. where the photos move and go about their business in their frames??! Do they visit each other too??!

Oooh, imagine Shiny. You could send a photo of MIL to Devil's Island

mummydoit · 11/11/2007 20:51

Oh, I was thinking of getting DH one for Christmas. He's a great photographer and has so many brilliant photos, it's hard to decide which one to frame. Does that mean our friends will stop speaking to us and consider us ultra-tacky (we never ask people to take their shoes off when we invite them for dinner, though).

onlyjoking9329 · 11/11/2007 20:54

we have one i brought DH one for fathers day and we love it.

SenoraPostrophe · 11/11/2007 20:55

I like them. But they are a ludicrous waste of leccy.

DB takes fantastic photographs and it's lovely to see them on display.

Not naff.

And you don't have to take your shoes off in my house if you come for dinner!

So there.

Lol I agree.

They also have rooms in the house you don't get to use and a bmw.

LedodgyChristmasjumper · 03/12/2007 14:03

I just don't get them I mean fair enough if they were Harry Potter-esque and the people in the picture moved or something but aren't they just a fancy expensive way of changing photos in a frame? If I want a different photo in a frame I'll either get a new frame or replace old photo. If I wan tot browse through lots of photos at one time i'll look through an album either on my computer or a real live paper one. Cheap and easy!

I got a digital photoframe keychain for FIL for £20 Slightly naff but he will love it and what else do you get dad-like people?
