Less miles vs less years

I need to decide between two cars.
They are the same make and model. One is newer with more miles and the other slightly older with less miles.

Car A) is 2014 and done 50,000 miles, a private sale from someone's house. MOT done in November. Full service history. Less "extras"

Car B) is 2016 and has done 63,000 miles, a dealership sale with 12 months AA breakdown and 3 month warranty. MOT done in September - 2 tyres were advisories which the dealership will replace. Ex family lease car, main dealer serviced and MOTd. More "extras" and prefer the colour.

Any advice would be really appreciated!

@SquirtleSquad

Thanks again for all of the posts, especially helpful regarding the DPF.

I've put down the deposit this evening on car B and collect on Tuesday. They're going to give it a new MOT, replace two tyres that were advisories on the previous MOT and hadn't been replaced.

Really impressed with the dealer and he has said (and confirmed by email) that I'd be eligible to bring it back within 6 months with any issues.

Thank you again to everyone who has taken the time to help.

That's great news. Especially regarding the fact they know the buyers rights. Definitely worth spending a bit more and buying through a good dealer.

Well done - I know I'm late to the thread but B was definitely the better option.

Before you buy the car make sure and ask when the timing belt/ timing chain was done because that’s a big enough job and if it’s not been done will have to factor that in ASAP! If it has been done recently then your away with it! Good luck with your new car!
