I bought a new black dress for £100 pounds for some posh do .. got it home and asked my 3 year old DS what he thought and he took one look and said 'it's too dark, I like you in your floaty green one' so I took it back the next day - kids are honest!

FrannyandZooey · 30/08/2007 20:58

I think they could look very stylish

not on me, but on someone

Jas · 30/08/2007 21:26

The more I come back to this thread, the more I like them. I'm starting to wish I had the cash to buy some....

I reckon they are actually quite cool and that might be your ds' problem, i.e. they are too cool for a mum to wear, perish the thought!

smeeinit · 30/08/2007 22:45

handlemecarefully, thats right,i shall use that one, they are just toooo cool!

I absolutely love them! Mind you, I am 6ft1 and big built, so I love chunky shoes and look awful in dainty little sandals.

In fact, if I had the money I would get some!

smeeinit · 30/08/2007 22:59

oh hippo, another fan! im feeling less and less like a freaky outcast!

smeeinit · 30/08/2007 23:04

hatwoman · 30/08/2007 23:06

I like them. but it would depend an awful lot what you wore them with and what your overall look (hair, make-up, accessories) was like.

with slouchy jeans, trendy top yes

with an elasticated floral skirt with tucked in t-shirt and knee socks...you'd be struggling
