your son clearly does not have trendy tastes....

smeeinit · 30/08/2007 18:31

sofia,ds has been laughing at my feet all day!
i cant agree that he has no taste, hes a great litttle dresser as most gay lads are.

Please note that I did not say your ds had no taste, just that he didn't have trendy taste. (Personally I think they are awful too, but I am not known for my trendy tastes). I guess they are a little too street. My gay friends tend to dress more classy/trendy and in fact give the children very lovely, trendy clothes for gifts, but they tend to be very impractical (dry clean only) clothes that are a bit useless for a 4 and 6 year old. Probably fatface stuff would be better!

Pinkchampagne · 30/08/2007 19:23

I'm with your son, sorry!

battlestar · 30/08/2007 19:24

i agree with him too.

Tinker · 30/08/2007 19:28

Hmm, I don't know. They are definitely teh type of shoes I may try on in the shop. It's teh sole I'm not sure of

Vile sorry

chopster · 30/08/2007 19:43

I agree without tigerfeet actually. I;ve spent the day in slouchy boyfriend style jeans and those shoes would go perfectly with them.

BUT I wouldn't wear them cos I have huge feet and would look horribly manly in them. I think as long as you dont have massive feet they will be great with jeans.

wastingmylife · 30/08/2007 19:45

I think they're horrible.

aloha · 30/08/2007 19:47

smeeinit, you are taking all this very well indeed!
But my, those are some ugly shoes

I'm actually surprised they are legal.

unknownrebelbang · 30/08/2007 19:47

Am with yer son.

Sorry.

cece · 30/08/2007 19:49

I like them

macneil · 30/08/2007 19:50

I like them. I have fat thighs and thin ankles and like a clumpy shoe on the bottom, I feel it balances it out, and that very dainty shoes make fat thighed women look like pigs with pigs trotters. And I like very pretty shoes! I just think a clumpy base does wonders for your legs, and looks like you're not trying too hard. Of course they are ugly, but they are nice.

Oh I really like them. But am a fashion pariah I'm afraid. I live in big clumpy doc martens or chunky boots of some description.

If you walked past me in the street I'd try to nick 'em off ya.

NadineBaggott · 30/08/2007 19:58

very, er dainty

smeeinit · 30/08/2007 20:03

aloha i asked for an opinion so cant get arsey if people give me their honest opinion! its not going to stop me wearing them!

doodledoo, love the description! pmsl!

I like them but did have a pair of art shoes myself which were similar but more colourful. Who wants to look like everyone else anyway! clumpy shoes with jeans are great.

MyTwopenceworth · 30/08/2007 20:10

I like them. I always wear big, clumpy shoes. Little delicate things look stupid on a woman with legs like tree trunks! {grin]

MyTwopenceworth · 30/08/2007 20:13

ohgodohgodohgod

I mean ME. I've got legs like tree trunks, little delicate shoes look stupid on me

A microsecond after my finger clicked down on 'post' I realised it was going to sound like I was saying you had legs like.....

I need to shut up now
