ring slings and rucksacks are not compatable, not if you want to save your back.

wrap slings and the tricotti are fine with a rucksack, but you have to make sure the material is splayed out on your back - if it's not, the weight distribution is very uncomfortable.

oh i do like the tricotti, I really fancy a sling in nice fabric though. its the only thinkg this baby is getting new...

Am fussy, I know

do you still have the green xplory filly? surely no3 can live in that for the first few months... then graduate straight to the loverly Yamo in 'surf'

course, for a newborn you might have to splash out on a new sheepskin liner thingamy

filly, what about cwtshi or an eden baby carrier? I was sorely tempted but got an ergo instead.

i would recommend a babyhawk mei tai...dont know how to do links sorry....baby can go on back or front and are very comfortable.....i have mild scoliosis at base of spine and find it very comfy and looks great!

You can find out about babyhawk here
www.babyhawk.com
They are very comfortable, they also have loads of loads of fab fabrics.
Im selling a babyhawk MT on For Sale boards, there are also a few others some probably are a bit "patchouli" tbh, you might like the others though.

what did you decide, filly?

mellow2 · 16/08/2007 16:17

I loved my baba sling. I carried dd in it until she was about 12 months.
