I bought a lovely dress off the site last week. Sale started today - noticed it was £100 off! Sent them an email saying "Aurgh, I've just bought it full price, is there anything you can do?" They replied within an hour saying "Of course! Have a store credit for the difference! Enjoy!"

I LOVE them. Now I'm going to buy some reduced price jeans. HOORAH!

happy shopping everyone

Over £100 for a pair of jeans.
About £20 would be my limit!

MintyDixCharrington · 27/06/2007 13:33

this is mine

very chic on, in a slightly 1980s way

I like that minty - it would've looked great on me in the 80's

foxinsocks · 27/06/2007 13:34

you could wrap a baby in the front of this one or dry a small child

paulaplumpbottom · 27/06/2007 13:35

They are very good, I love shopping at that site.

Sixer · 27/06/2007 13:35

i like that FIS !! sadly, my budget stretches to affording one sleeve!

i like your dress , Minty...

Iklboo · 27/06/2007 13:38

Is it just me or does the model in the coat (when you click clothing) make a whippet look fat?? Jaysus - have a PIE girl!

And size 0-12 only? Tres responsible!

MintyDixCharrington · 27/06/2007 13:40

it IS quite 80s isn't it carmenere...

I rather like that about it. reminds me of my lost youth etc etc

also it is A Good Dress for a woman with good pins and arms, but a small lack of waist problem brought on by Too Many Babies

MintyDixCharrington · 27/06/2007 13:40

Iklboo the sizing is often american

so 12 is actually a 16

foxinsocks · 27/06/2007 13:41

yes, you need good pins for that dress Minty!

I wonder how one gets a waist back. I'm not overweight (ok, could do with losing half a stone or so ahem) but I still lack a waist grrrr.

Ahhh - thank Minty. I will check bank account and see if I can afford a button

GameGirly · 27/06/2007 13:44

Now, tell me about that dress, Minty. I tried it on, but wasn't sure ... so ... maybe I'm just too short.

Today I am wearing this:

www.net-a-porter.com/product/22582

MintyDixCharrington · 27/06/2007 13:48

that's lovely gamegirly
you clearly DO have a waist

I've got out of proportion legs (v long) and a v short back, so I've never had a great waist (it sits on the bottom of my ribcage IYKWIM)

So my dress looks good on me because it shows lots of long slim leg and lots of long slim arm and hides my middle

I suspect to get any sort of waist back I have to do lots of running and masses of crunches etc (and even then it will never be very defined)

(and running and crunches somehow isn't happening at the moment)
