I really need to buy some new makeup.
At the mo i am using collection 2000 foundation, and seperate powder, but it often looks like i haven't put anything on at all as you can still see skin blemishes, old spot marks e.t.c.
It also makes me look pale so is obviously the wrong colour too.

Any make-up experts out there who can help me please

Could also do with a good mascara blusher and lippy too

tamum - that website is great! thanks for telling us about it. will have to order my Touche Eclat from there next time - it's so cheap! Fantastic!

earlygirl · 08/09/2004 15:26

recently got some from body shop and its excellent-theyve got a new range
lippy and gloss pen- good
lip and cheek stain- great
eyeshadows -lovely
like clarins for base foundation they do a lovely light one called teint souffle(i think thats right its oil free i mix it with their tinted moisturiser
for a natural look get conceler in the right shade not too light so you can wear it alone
lip/cheek stain
natural blusher(i like avon colours)
light mascara
hth
though youve prob gone shopping by now

branster, if you buy your touche eclat from here it will be even cheaper as NO delivery charge in UK.

earlygirl · 08/09/2004 15:35

love that site too kayleigh !

earlygirl · 08/09/2004 15:35

want a juicytube but cant decide which colour!

earlygirl · 08/09/2004 15:36

'dont just dab it on slap it on'
lol

I got my first juicytube a few weeks ago and got "pamplemousse". It is good as not quite a colour and goes over any lipstick or can be worn on its own for a pouty sexy look (probably on me a drooly look ). Am now addicted and want one in every colour.

maybelline do a poor woman's juicy tube in 3 delicious colours (i have two of them - one brightish pink, the other more muted)

Nutty - I still have this box of makeup for you - will let you know when I'm in your area unless I give it to my sis and you pop into her shop (but you mustn't say Mumsnet!!!)

nutcracker · 17/09/2004 21:16

Can drop it at your sisters shop if you like Jampot. What ever is easiest for you.

You'll have to CAT me with the shop address though.

Oh and how do I know you then if not through MN ???

Nutty - i've given the make up to my sister - she'll take it to work tomorrow so just send dh in when you're ready. I've also put in another little Clinique bag with "kiddie" make up for your dd. My dd sorted it out for her
