fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:05

but aside from the mummy/daddy issue- babies don't TALK.

WHY must he want a doll? why not a garage?

fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:07

this one looks like it might be soft bit hard to tell but annabel dolls are soft bodied (they can't be bathed)

fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:10

ah looks good

what are "magic eyes" and HOW is it both soft bodied AND anatomically correct?

OP posts:
ChippyMinton · 02/06/2007 09:20

baby born magic eyes boy

can't find details of that £9.99 one anywhere though. It is sooo confusing.

fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:25

aha

am getting quite cyncial about all this really

there's a LOT of marketing of dolls out there

OP posts:
fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:27

oh ffs

this looks adequate
he doesn't get the girl/pink thing anyway

OP posts:
Ceolas · 02/06/2007 09:28

If you are after soft bodied, you won't get the anatomy

ChippyMinton · 02/06/2007 09:29

i'll let you into a secret - DD has assorted dolls and the ones she loves best are the very cheap ones from asda or wilkinsons etc. The small ones are easier and lighter to carry around too. http://www.elc.co.uk/toy-42047 elc elc again

fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:30

lol

i do not think ds cares about anatomy

actually i am not sure if it needs to be a boy doll really, i think that might be me, not him

OP posts:
fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:30

oh THATS what i need, the little luke doll

fine

OP posts:
ChippyMinton · 02/06/2007 09:31

that's the half price chouchou that DD has - clothes are fairly gender neutral - yellow and raspberry.

ChippyMinton · 02/06/2007 09:32

are we done shopping then?
now you just need an elc code to get some money off...

fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 09:33

noooo

no luke dollies on ebay

aaargh

can you get soft bodied dollies in asda?

OP posts:
Ceolas · 02/06/2007 09:42

Ceolas · 02/06/2007 09:42

Tamum · 02/06/2007 09:48

filly, there are things called My First Annabell or something that don't talk and have soft bodies, maybe they are the ones?

Tamum · 02/06/2007 09:51

Like this ugly brute?

Tamum · 02/06/2007 09:55

Saddo that I am, I have searched and found this sweet looking one that even looks like a boy.

fillyjonk · 02/06/2007 10:16

oh lol my head is SPINNING. SPINNING

they are all pretty ugly, aren't they?

Co-op sell a slightly smaller size soft bodied open and shut eyes boy doll, for about a fiver I think

I can get you one in the week if you like, and can send photos as we have one

it doesn't have a bottle but they now do come with dummies (not when I bought it, tut tut tut)

Ceolas · 02/06/2007 10:37

Actually filly, I have one here you can have if you like. Soft bodied but naked I'm afraid! Opening and closing eyes. Doesn't talk or cry or have a dummy.

Don't know if you could sort out some clothes?

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 02/06/2007 15:57

How about this
