yes just nice bag from normal shop

cloth nappies don't fit in normal changing bags anyway I have tried

and then there are the utterly useless cooler compartments for formula and baby food which take up all the space

buy gorgeous bag and put all stuff it in

do not be embarrassed walking round town

job done

Cath Kidson - beautiful cheerful changing bags.

Really really like them - easy to clean too. I know they're a bit middle-class-boden and crocy - but i live in a cute cottage and it really goes with all the laura ashley crap I have lying round here.

KneeHigh, didn't mean to offend yesterday just in case I did (re: tragic remark), didn't have time to come back and post afterwards!

All those saying just get an ordinary bag, I really like the features of a changing bag primarily being able to hang it properly off a pushchair so it doesn't bang into your knees. I don't want to carry that much stuff on my back neither do I want to put it in the shopping basket - where would the shopping go? I like bottle pockets too they're very handy.

Kneehighinnappies · 15/05/2007 15:03

That's alright accessorize I'm not easily offended, and yes Your right I am a bit tragic I just get a little over excited sometimes when people ask for my help

Mumpbump · 15/05/2007 15:12

I don't think you really need a changing bag as such, but if I were going to buy one and didn't mind the expense, I would buy and oioi one. Will try and find a website to link for you...

Mumpbump · 15/05/2007 15:13

Here you go...

oioi bags

ScottishMummy · 15/05/2007 16:07

i love the samsonite ruck sacks - looking like animals. I have the penguin. Got it for around £10 in a local store. However they do sell them at TKMAX. All of my antenatal group have one.

CaptainDippy · 15/05/2007 21:07

Ooooh, more options....Thank you ......

purplemonkeydishwasher · 16/05/2007 12:15

Nbg - the penguin one is WAAYYYY cooler!!

scootermum · 16/05/2007 12:19

Ive just got a really lovely one from TK Maxx...Its a Samsonite one, red spriggy floral with a red and white polka dot trim, very Cath Kidston esque and for the bargain price of £14.99..I love the thing and cant wait to use it when DD2 arrives hopefully in the next few days!

They had some cool denim ones as well..

ScottishMummy · 16/05/2007 12:27

i have a BNIP samsonite giraffe changing mat and bottle holder - have not got round to using it yet but is funky

Mumpbump · 16/05/2007 13:00

I got the orange giraffe for ds' bag for nursery. And the smallest one to carry a couple of nappies and wipes around in. I do love the sammies, but for ds, not for me!!

chipmonkey · 16/05/2007 14:29

actually, I use cloth nappies and I got a Kapoochi bag on ebay. There's a nappy dispenser in the change compartment which takes 3-4 cloth nappies and everything else is in handy little pockets. The one I got was discontinued and I got it very cheap on ebay, compared to the prices for a new one.
