mumto3girls · 26/04/2007 14:55

yes...i have worries about meeting someone in the same town as me...but sometimes think it would be nice

bonkerz · 27/04/2007 06:42

didnt get one am off out today now to buy one and also going to write a long complaint email! Problem is, didnt need one at first, sold other buggies now so do need one BUT dont want to spend over £100!! am so annoyed!
Kitchen fitter was here all day yesterday and nothing showed up so rang at 5 to be told nop more stock ever again cant belkieve no one rang me wednesday to tell me!

LittleEgg · 27/04/2007 07:08

Ooooooooooooooh. They surely cant do that to you? It is not your fault, and to not even contact you is outrageous. As someone else said, you can get it for £119 on kiddicare.com and it includes the footmuff, which normally retail at £40.

If you are reeeeeally desperate I could sell you mine, but it is now used, has a small scrape on the brake, and think it could cost a lot to courier it to Leicestershire from London. Also, I quite like it and even manage to master the steps ok yesterday, but I dont NEED it and have not told DH yet!

fryalot · 27/04/2007 07:29

bonkerz - how bloody awful.

Complain. Definitely. A lot. To everybody.

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 08:38

it would cost £6 to courier with payperdrop...

LittleEgg · 27/04/2007 08:52

Bonkerz. Let me know. Don't blame you if you dont want a used one mind you. AM out most of day today but will check here before I go and when I get back just to make sure.

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 09:04

LittleEgg, don't you like yours anymore?

LittleEgg · 27/04/2007 09:07

I do love it. And I do WANT it. But I dont NEED it and have not even told DH yet. I would be happy either way and don't want Bonkerz to be stuck. Would be very sad to see it go mind you...

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 09:09

unfortunately i can already see alot of orange zapps on ebay...not sure how many originated from Boots!

LittleEgg · 27/04/2007 09:22

Ah if Bonkerz doesn't want it I will definitely keep it. Especially since I have mastered the steps now. I saw some workmen wearing orange luminous vests eyeing it up yesterday!

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 09:28

how did you do the steps?

Thanks so much for the offer littleegg, am currently writing a very rude email to BOOTS as we speak! Managed to get one today at babies r us in blue for £99. Not the colour i wanted for DD but will keep eye out for different seats!

bonkerz · 27/04/2007 13:13

AGH looks like Boots have them back in!!!

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 16:04

boots have probably had a few returns....

LittleEgg · 27/04/2007 16:14

Nooooooo, I want blue!!!! Really pleased though that you have got one, but VERY annoying of Boots. They are being shite.

SoupDragon · 27/04/2007 16:35

Despite really not liking this at all, I've ordered 2. One to definitely Ebay and one to, er, not sure yet. Maybe keep. Depends how much the first goes for

SlightlyMadSuperhero · 27/04/2007 16:35

PMSL at this thread....don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with teh Zap (doesn't suit me but I do wuite like seeing them around), or orange....but you lot are like a gaggle of girlies (and one man I think) whispering in the corner.

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 16:37

We're happy..so where's the harm?

SlightlyMadSuperhero · 27/04/2007 16:41

I didn't say there was any harm...in fact your happyness has rubbed off on me...I have a big smile on my face...I like the tone....I just thougt it was a nice fluffy thread.....wish I was involved but I have only just convinced DP that we need to replace our maclaren stroller with something so DD can lay flatter so there was no way I could pull a Zap off....please don't be angry.....I didn't mean to cause offence....I like this thread honest...

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 16:43

i'm not angry..i'm happy - glad we made you smile.

Sometimes it's the small things...

SlightlyMadSuperhero · 27/04/2007 16:44

"Sometimes it's the small things" - exactly what I should have said....I'm sorry I am not very good with words.

mumto3girls · 27/04/2007 16:49

Well it seems like alot of the ladies on here are very inventive when it comes to inventing reasons to need one...

LittleEgg · 27/04/2007 16:56

Can't believe Soupy has bought TWO when she doesn't even like them.

Slightlymad... glad we have made you smile with our fluffy thread. For me this has turned into my ante natal / post natal etc thread as I don't belong to any of those gangs... . I come here to see my pals!
