Am rubbish at links so can't show you one of these (maybe someone else could do the honours).

This is a new product from Tomy. It consists of a big sheet, plus two pens. The brilliant bit is that you fill the pens with water, and because the sheet is made of a special material, you can write and draw on it, then, as the water dries, the images fade and you can use it again and again and again. The sheet is edged with the alphabet and numbers 1-10, which magically appear when you scribble over them with the water pens. Me and ds2 (age 3) have so much fun with this, its the best £20 I have ever spent on a "toy".

Ds has tried scribbling on the door and floor with the pens, but as they only contain water, they can do no harm.

this one?

Looks great! Sure DD would love this.

twogorgeousboys · 18/07/2004 22:04

Thanks Hulababy - that's it. It is brilliant, can't stop messing about with it myself.

twogorgeousboys · 19/07/2004 10:34

Echo all the good comments - ds1 had one of these for Christmas and loves it! I had a sense of humour failure when he tried to use wax crayons on it tho'!!

DaddyCool · 24/01/2005 11:34

Super-Mega bump (from July)

These are excellent! Has anyone else got one? Except DS keeps sucking on the wet end of the pen! He drained the entire pen last night while daddy was too busy watching the telly.

monkeygirl · 24/01/2005 11:38

Ooh yes we have one -fab, especially good to take on holiday/weekends away.

DC - well at least it's only water! Could be an idea for a new type of sippy cup...

gingerbear · 24/01/2005 11:40

DC, yep, we have one.

Try wet hand/ footprints, or drawing round DS body like in a crime scene - DD loves that. Also, drawing around the cat/dog as they like to use it as somewhere to sleep.

You can buy spare pens from the Tomy website.

Evesmama · 24/01/2005 11:41

dont wipe then over with abby wipes though as something in them keeps the mat looking wet/blue

DaddyCool · 24/01/2005 11:43

damn, thats £20 down the drain Evesmama!

GB - DS wiggles far too much for the crime scene outline but he'll get a kick out of the footprint one.

Evesmama · 24/01/2005 11:44

woops i mean baby wipes
and ive seen then for £16 in toysrus and boots(im in teesside tho?)

aquadraw is great after bathtime - dd runs across it in bare feet (wet after bath) and makes footprints, then handprints

mishi1977 · 24/01/2005 11:58

NP will have to try that tonight he will love it

Tetley · 15/03/2005 15:25

Just got one of these in Woolies - £5 off at the moment so cost £11.97 - just in case anyone is interested!

blossom2 · 15/03/2005 15:27

Expectantmum · 15/03/2005 15:31
