I only want some plainish boys pjs. Is that too much to ask?

Ds has only one pair of pjs that fit (excluding his shortie ones) so went to get some today. They are all revolting, emblazoned with logos or inapproprite pictures (Woolies, Next, M&S) or velour in pastel blue with a teddy on the front (Tchibo) or overpriced (Gap).
Thats the local shops exhausted.
Anyone know where I can get plainish or at least age appropriate ones (He needs age 4) to save me wasting another trip.

Thank you!

Asda had some that were plain khaki green.

you looked online at vertbaudet? Jako-o are good too but don't know how long they take to deliver? Or ebay?

Sophiev73 · 07/10/2006 13:00

I saw some lovely ones in Primark... And then had to run out screaming due to stress so didn't buy anything. AGAIN.

UlySCREAMS · 07/10/2006 13:00

plain boys pyjamas

ediemay · 07/10/2006 13:17

I just got some plain pale blue & dark blue check, brushed cotton from Sainsburys - £7 a pair. Proper jamas.

FrannyandZooey · 07/10/2006 13:19

Vertbaudet had lovely plain traditional style ones last season, but not so sure about the current catalogue. All the logos etc are gross aren't they?

twickersmum · 07/10/2006 13:30

have a look at these ones on mamatoto.co.uk - i have some (girls) and can't believe how good quality they are and how well they wash
mamatoto.co.uk/PRD_ProductDetail.aspx?cid=76&PID=1778 (if this link doesn't work, haven't done it before lol, type in pyjamas in the search box on www.mamatoto.co.uk)
i also have a free delivery code if you want it! KF1ZZ140

agree with cod. I used to be a snobby about this too but tbh, they are only pjs and the kids love having ones with superheros on.

Gobbledispook · 07/10/2006 13:33

though i do draw the line at naffo super hero clothing

Hey cod, don't assume we are banning logos - DS was with me and chose the plain ones. Stop being so tediously judgemental when we are just trying to answer someone's question FFS.

BettyBatShapedSpaghetti · 07/10/2006 13:37

Have you tried Tesco? -I know we bought some plain ones in packs of two from there last year (winter and summer ones).

Gobbledispook · 07/10/2006 13:37

Ooooo, touchy

Oh I have nothing against ones with pictures on them, logos, characters. What I said was age appropriate ones thank you Cod. Both my kids have been through Tweenies, Noddy, Bob, Thomas etc etc on pjs, knickers, vests. Just as at age 4 I didn't want dd in ones that said "SEXY", I don't want ds in ones that say "MACHO MAN" or pictures an axe wielding maniac.
Okay with you, or does that still make me a ponce?

yeah, whatever. It's toys out of the pram round here.

Gobbledispook · 07/10/2006 13:42

I bloody hate spending spondoolies on pjs

GreenSlashedSleeves · 07/10/2006 13:42

I almost agree with cod, in that I will let mine have Noddy or Pingu or trains etc on pyjamas and will venture further into naff logo territory with pyjamas than with day clothes - but I draw the line at Monsters Inc and bloody Power Rangers. I wouldn't let a four year old watch any of that shit anyway, and the characters/logos are frankly fugly

Gobbledispook · 07/10/2006 13:43

Bloody hell! Chill out!

ediemay · 07/10/2006 13:43

that was to the fish not you Posey.
Of course there's ALWAYS BODEN
