ok - i know it's lazy, but my dp and i work full time and we can't be bothered with doing this ourselves. i know some companies do it with real fir trees, but we want an artificial tree so it will last all december next to a radiator. does anyone know of a company that will do this. we have a reasonable budget and live in south west London.

How could you!?
I actually cried a couple of years ago when I came home and DH and my MIL had put up our tree without me (sad I know)

Mamag .. you also forgot the 52 digressions from original topic matter

clumsymum · 22/09/2006 12:49

Can't believe we're discussing Xmas in Sept

Reminds me, must make Puds this weekend

AChickenBotherer · 22/09/2006 12:50

it's now time to post your puds recipe

JollyRogerMamaG · 22/09/2006 12:50

oh yes Twiglett, mustn't forget that

tissy · 22/09/2006 12:50

I actually wasn't trying to be funny!

I was living in hospital accommodation one year, and we weren't allowed to have Christmas trees, due to their being a "fire hazard", so we got a big blown up photo of a tree, and along with a few paper chains and baubles around the room, it did feel quite Christmassy!

JollyRogerMamaG · 22/09/2006 12:50

I haven't got one - go bother a chicken!

AChickenBotherer · 22/09/2006 12:51

I shall be turkeybotherer when I get round to that

alexsmum · 22/09/2006 12:53

turkeybothere is a good christmas name.i can't thinknof a single way to adapt my name to make it chritmassy.

wheelsonthebus · 22/09/2006 12:54

thanks for the suggestsions of companies. that was all i wanted. what people think of my buying a decorated tree is making me laugh. I sometimes think people just go on mumsnet to have an argument. it's getting very boring.

AChickenBotherer · 22/09/2006 12:55

oh yes and having a tree decorated and sent to your house is not boring at all

it is the very definition of joy and fun

we on the other hand are spending precious time having a larf; apparently it's very good for you

codwiggle · 22/09/2006 12:55

you THINK we do?
of course we do

AChickenBotherer · 22/09/2006 12:56

wheels pays someone to have her arguments for her - doesn't have the time, y'know

clumsymum · 22/09/2006 12:57

well if you don't like it cos it's boring then don't participate.

But as was said below, if you ask a question on here, expect to get all sorts of replies, mostly not the answer you wanted or expected.

Twiglett · 22/09/2006 12:58

pmsl @ wheels pays someone cos she doesn't have the time
