I want a separate shower cubicle. Much better. And no curtain.

nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:46

its a f*ckin pita ndp

i do it nekkid before i shower

iota, i really like that shower screen

nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:47

hands up who wants a 'wet room'

NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:47

a sep shower cubicle is deffo better if you have the space to fit it in

iota · 08/09/2006 17:47

walk in showers are good for getting frisky though - sigh - we had a lovely one on holiday in Orlando

NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:49

Naily... I bought a squeegee thing from Ikea and am militant about making sure anyone who uses said shower uses the squeegee afterwards. Tragic eh ?

I hate wetrooms. Who wants to sit on a wet loo seat or paddle in someone elses skanky shower water to wash their hands ? And they're a dampness nightmare, tanking a room effectively is v hard (and ££££££)

NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:50

Iota - lovely shower or lovely shag ?

nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:50

i wouldnt have a toilet in it

just a shower

s'pose it doesnt sound that great after all

ill send dh round to clean yer shower cubicle if you like, he is brilliant at it

have you tried the new flash stuff? green spray gun, red top

iota · 08/09/2006 17:51
NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:51

Ermmm, I don't think so. I tend to use the Ecover stuff to salve my wasteful conscience

nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:52

do you really?

good for you

nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:53
Piffle · 08/09/2006 17:53

ugh all the lime scale looks like rain stain on dark shower fabrics

NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:54

It's surprisingly effective actually and the same price as the Flash Bathroom that I used to buy.

beckybrastraps · 08/09/2006 17:55

Ooh, I don't like wetrooms. Friends of ours have one and wet room describes it pretty well. Very unpleasant to use after someone has showered. Lots of work for the squeegee.

nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:56

ill maybe try it ndp

NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:56
Wink
nailpolish · 08/09/2006 17:57

jeez, how we are livin' it up on a friday night ndp, discussing our shower cleaners...........

NomDePlume · 08/09/2006 17:59

DH is on some corporate back-slapping thing today so won't be back 'til gone 8. He wants me to keep DD up (normally she's spark out by 7.15) so I'm killing a bit of time.

coderoo · 08/09/2006 18:03

fodl back one does look good
too late now though

OP posts:
JoolioTooterini · 08/09/2006 18:04

The only thing about those foldback screens is that they have to go on an outside wall because they are so heavy, a stud/partition wall won't hold it. (Only know this because friend's DP wanted on efor his new bathroom but couldn't do it because the bath isn't next to an outside wall and it would've meant messing around with plumbing)
