Prufrock, like the look of those tops, have never visited Bravissimo before, so thanks all for drawing it to my attention .

Er, question: why is this thread under 'Products'?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I didn't buy mine -- they just growed. And growed.

Frankly, if I had bought them I'd have taken them back long ago and swapped them for something a couple of sizes smaller.

Coddy · 25/03/2004 14:04

Am never going to M&S again - have found my new home!

MrsDoolittle · 25/03/2004 14:24

I was a 34F before I became pregnant and now I am 38G at 39 weeks, can I join. I too have also fallen in love with bravissimo and can't wait until I can wear one of those tops with diddy little straps. Maybe not this summer, though

Clayhead · 25/03/2004 14:26

The strappy tops are AMAZING, they really do work. Having never been able tp wear anything like that I was chuffed to bits when I found them.

Bagpuss30, the shop in the Triangle in Manchester is great.

MrsDoolittle · 25/03/2004 14:31

How long is it before you start to feel attractive again? I just feel like a heifer at the moment. Everyone says "ooh don't you look radiant?" I think they are lying!!!

Demented · 25/03/2004 14:56

Oooh, like the strappy tops. Can anyone who has one tell me are they tight round the midriff like a sports top or are they a bit looser?

JanHR · 25/03/2004 15:11

Yeah, I have finally got rid of my BF bras, now wearing a brand new Fantasie bra which is 34H.
I feels so much beter now.

prettycandles · 25/03/2004 15:11

MrsDoolittle, just wait until you hoick yourself into one of those Bravissimo bras - all of a sudden it doesn't seem to matter that tummy and bum are still wobbling somewhere around your hips! I wore an underwired bra to dh's work do when ds was 3mo and felt just grrrrrrreat :0.

prettycandles · 25/03/2004 15:11

I meant

Bagpuss30 · 25/03/2004 15:37

Thanks Clayhead, will make sure I visit next time I am there .

dottee · 25/03/2004 15:42

Just ordered a Bravissimo catalogue. I might as well make the most of them

MrsDoolittle · 25/03/2004 15:44

Good good, that's what I was hoping to hear. Hoping to BF though, does that make a difference. Nursing bras aren't that attractive. Dh starts singing 'swing low ....' when he looks at me in the morning!! nice huh?

prettycandles · 25/03/2004 15:49

I was breastfeeding at the time, so, despite the support of the bra, as the evening wore on I found I couldn't dance as much because I was getting engorged (I think it was also the first time I'd missed two feeds in a row). I had to find somewhere to express, which I hadn't planned on - duh! I have found that I can wear an occasional underwire without any problems, as long as I express any missed feeds.

I started a thread recently on when could I start wearing underwires again as I'm still feeding dd, and the consensus seems to be that you can start as soon as you feel comfortable.

prufrock · 25/03/2004 19:07

demented they have lycra so they cling , but will stretch. (I actually wore one when 8 months pregnant last time and it accomodated the bump. Only slight problem I found was that the material used for some is a bit thin - so if you buy the paler colours they cling a bit too visibly to any wobbly bits you may have poking above your waistband.

Demented · 25/03/2004 23:11

Hmmm, might show off all the wobbly bits then.

Still another stone off and I could see me ordering one.

sassy · 27/03/2004 12:46

34G. Have decided to see a surgeon once my family is complete!

Demented · 28/03/2004 19:56

Now a 32E, am I still in?

Was 32G, is that a drop of 4 cup sizes? If it is no wonder I felt like I was wearing hand-me-down bras.

squirmyworm · 28/03/2004 20:06

I've lugged mine over from another thread where they were obstructing the fire exits. Used to be a 34 D. Now (still feeding) bumping a 34G?? not really sure but they sure do frighten the horses at the mo.

noddy5 · 28/03/2004 20:15

36d too big
