info on MPV cars please.

I am wanting some MPV info please. Our toyota previa got written off last week (have another thread on that), and we are now looking for another car.
I really want another previa but they are proving very hard to find, so am now needing to look for other MPV's. Problem is I don't actually know any of the names of the other makes to look any up on the PCBlush.

Hoping you lovely ladies can help me. :)

Car needs to be big enough for 5 kiddies and holiday luggage as we going on hols in 3wks! I know that vauxhall safira's are out,and we know that cos that is what the insurance co. have kindly supplied. We can't even get a weeks shopping in when we all insideShock!

So.......do you have an MPV, what type is it, and is it any good??

Grin I was thinking mini-bus, but how well do newborn carseats strap in?

(She already has a cot and a highchair in her house for a child that isn't hers, might as well buy a car to fit him too Wink)

what is the poegot(SP?) one
and the mazda???

sorry kelly1978 i disagree that the espace is bigger i have had both and the caravelle (vw) is definatly bigger that is why we got it. i think you are thinking of a vw alhambra which is the same as a galaxy

mumo I have the seat alhambra, built alongside the VW sharan and yep, both those are the same as a galaxy. The espace which we had on holiday was bigger than my seat. The vw caravelle is built like a mini bus and is even bigger - HUGE, I agree! I wish mine had that much space, but I wouldn't want to drive it

ok....needs again....

we have 5 kiddies

regularly expanding family to 7/8kiddies tho so would really like eight seats if poss.Wink

am going on holiday in three weeks to the isle of wight so need good luggage space, altho we do have a top box so not a massive priority.

ooh, and sliding doors would be nice too so i stop bashing other carsBlush

another thing......am terrified of driving anyhow at the mo so a bulit in chofer (that really is NOT the right spellingBlush) would be good too. A hunky one pleaseWinkGrin

You can get MPVs with 8 seats - instead of 2 captain's seats in the back row, you can get a bench that seats 3.

MoM....our previa has (HADAngry) 8seats, and flames little sparklers fitted fab:)

citroen c8 has 8 seats, or the vw caravelle. Can't think of any others that don't mean a minbus.
