Are they any good?

If you don't know what they are here's this link:

Am thinking of getting one but am not sure how good it is / would be. What's the general view here (from those either with or without one).

Have seen an artical in the local press and was doing a search to see what other people think... thought I was the only one that had one and was getting a bit concerned that I'd made a boo boo... haven't looked at any other threads - anything interesting going on??? Blush

dd1 helps out in the kitchen by standing on a chair and listening to me bark 'KEEP STILL' every 5 mins.

dd2 plays on the floor with a bag of plastic crap (McDonalds toys, party bag swag etc) that she empties out and studies for ages.

How did my mother ever manage with 3 under 4 without one of these, we had pan lids to occupy us

I've got one of these and it's the best £110.00 ever spent!

Yesterday my two and half year old was driving me nuts, so I put her in the pod at the kitchen sink, her tea sets, teddies and of course an apron and she played happily for over an hour, washing pots, making tea and custard.

For a toddler to stay in one place (other than in front of the tv) for a whole hour is moeny well spent if you ask me.

(smile) or :)

pennies, quite agree with you. there's something not quite right with it yet you get strangely drawn into staring at it. it somehow reminds me of a magician trick. you know - the one where he chops a person into half (the "height adjustable" picture!) :o
