No - I didn't bother with that option. I used the seat on full recline from birth, on the basis that it was flatter than a car seat and he was going to be in the pushchair for less than 2 hours at a time so never saw the point.

You can't get a MB car seat though (which you probably realise). You have to buy adaptors and I think a few of the carseats fit it (something Confort rings a bell, but I could be making it up)

You can get adaptors. We just used a carrycot and did baby transfers IYSWIM.

We used the MB with a the car seat convertor - we used a Britax rock-a-tot in it. it was really easy to transfer into/out of when you went out in the car and then were using the pushchair.

Plus it had the advantage that ds was then facing us - so I used the car seat option for quite a while.

Don't ask me how long, as ds is now 5.5 and the memories are getting blurred Wink. But he was a small child and he fitted into his rok-a-tot for a long time! Grin.

Think I may have stopped transferring the car seat oonce he was old enough to take a full interest in waht was going on out and about and didn't need to see me all the time.
