well i bought and apart from being stunned that the instructiosn can make a simple device look liek splitting the atom, its VERY good and the recipe they give you is good.

Boys ate 2 each for their tea!

think i'll do a JOb lot for the freezer

Ledodgy · 21/04/2006 18:09

Will it make chickpea burgers? Grin

SaintGeorge · 21/04/2006 18:11

Freeze them seperately then stack when solid cod.

They are a b*ard to get apart otherwise, even with the little disc wotsits.

cod · 21/04/2006 18:11

like on a tray or summat?

Yeah, then just sling in a box or bag later.

About 30 minutes in the freezer is enough.

JoolsToo · 21/04/2006 18:13

I'll bet it's a 'burger' to clean afterwards WinkGrin

cod · 21/04/2006 18:13

no its ok really
its a ridicuolously simple piece of machinery but hey do look well formed by it

I found \link{http://www.recipezaar.com/r/q=burgers/265\low cholestral burgers} doesn't seem to mention meat anywhere though.

Chickpeas are supposed to help lower cholestral.

puff · 21/04/2006 18:26

I bought one after twiglett's recommendation - am impressed too

JoolsToo · 21/04/2006 18:27

couldn't you just shape them with your hands - or use a patty cutter and make nice shapes!

SaintGeorge · 21/04/2006 18:31

Does make them all nice and solid though Jools. All identical looking and shop bought.

My kids have this strange idea that I am trying to feed them healthily, god forbid, if I actually make things.

GeorginaA · 21/04/2006 18:42

I love the burger maker - I make chicken rissoles and fish cakes in it too. In fact, anything that requires reforming into a different shape goes circular in our house Grin

I love Lakeland.

cod · 21/04/2006 18:43

agree JOols you coudl but hese do make them all very even and they cooked betetr than my normal efforts
