bossykate · 03/12/2003 17:41

Forestfly · 03/12/2003 17:56

champs · 03/12/2003 18:18

Forestfly · 03/12/2003 18:45

Is this it? £19.99 four stories, Here Do a search again!

LIZS · 03/12/2003 19:00

How about plan city ?

alison222 · 04/12/2003 16:11

Got one from a company called Letterbox - think it was letterbox.com but I've just thrown out the catalogue. Wooden ones are more expensive I think it was about 40 pounds

Blu · 04/12/2003 16:15

a selection by mail order

codswallop · 04/12/2003 16:16

plan toys?

SoupDragon · 04/12/2003 16:17

Can you remember anything else about the catalogue?

Blu · 04/12/2003 16:19

OK, doesn't work...it's the Mailorderexpress.com site, search 'wooden toys' under 'category', then search 'garage'. There were about 4 wooden ones, and some plastic ones.

champs · 04/12/2003 23:51

hi all, it was a catalogue with loads of stuff in it, i think it was mainly for kids..... Come to think of it maybe it wasn't wooden I'm so confused, any other carpark/ garage u no of? with lots of storeys in the picture the little boy was stamding up so it was quite big

OP posts:
Jimjams · 05/12/2003 09:48

I think I know the one you mean but its plastic.

justiner · 05/12/2003 11:16

Look at mumsnet's toy review for review of garages - both amazon and elc do good ones. Remember to click through from the buttons on the home page!
Best,

aarrrr, I cant believe I lost the catalogue!! I think it had all sorts of stuff like a rocket that shoots up high in sky, light flowers, dodo reciepie clip book, and garden clip book. loads of stuff, one of those inovative ones.....

AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!! Just been to the ELC to get DS2s garage and it's out of stock in both Croydon stores and online. Sob! I'll have to quickly trawl through these links to find an alternative

champs · 16/12/2003 17:00

don't u just hate it wen that happens!!!! aarrggg

jinglesaur · 16/12/2003 17:24

word of warning - we bought DS1 a Chad Valley one a couple of years ago - it was plastic not wood - they're VERY flimsy - definitely don't recommend!

Clairabelle · 16/12/2003 17:30

Try tridias creative toys. www.tridias.co.uk. Good luck

TinselDragon · 16/12/2003 17:43

DS1 got a flimsy plastic one a couple of years ago - I want to replace it with a nice sturdy wooden one which will be given to DS2. They'll end up sharing all their presents anyway (and I use the term "sharing" fairly loosely!)

TinselDragon · 16/12/2003 18:26

I can't find one in stock, without a hefty delivery charge and still deliverable! I think I'm going to crawl off somewhere and cry. The ELC one was perfect and the Plan Toys one would have done... shambles!

TheGrinch · 16/12/2003 18:59

soupie (that is you, isn't it?) try here - doesn't give availability though...

TheGrinch · 16/12/2003 19:07

The Plan City garage is 60 euros here so £30 plus £4 p&p isn't bad...? Or did you want the bigger one?

TinselDragon · 16/12/2003 19:12

Yes, it's me, all decked out for Christmas. Mind you, I'm thinking of taking my tinsel off! It was the multistory one I was after (£45 ish depending where you look) but I may have to lower my spec!

I don't think DS2 will notice but DS1 is getting a bike and a (cheap) digital camera so the garage was meant to equate to those.
