champs marco is quite high and would only recommend it if people were 5ft6 and above. Ideal for us tallies though.

MarsOnLife · 19/01/2006 11:48

No it was a good height for you champs.

The fact that you've forgotten clearly shows how long it's been since you were here. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder how that can be remedied.

champs · 19/01/2006 14:06

My double mountain buggy urban fits on the bus (just!). It is fab, pushes itself, swivels on a sixpence, but is expensive and not sure I would like to fold/lift it into a car boot.

champs · 21/01/2006 00:29

thanks redshoes

iquizzed someone in the shop the other day, they had a nipper. very nice it was too.

still so undecided....

oh for goodness sake woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a marco sky! The mothercare one is lower (but you can always look at one in store). I tried to look at one in Wood Green but they had none in stock (typically) the day I was there.

champs · 07/03/2006 14:44

marsy!! doees the front wheels swivel??

OP posts:
champs · 07/03/2006 14:44

MarsOnLife · 07/03/2006 14:45

yes they do!

Do you want to borrow mine for a while?

champs · 07/03/2006 14:49

have you a new one??

OP posts:
MarsOnLife · 07/03/2006 14:50

I've got a double that I'm using. The marco is mainly for bus travel and going to the GPs. I have a redcastle shop 'n' jog which pushes up the hill really really easily! Smile

Am happy for you to borrow my marco for a while to help you decide.

champs · 07/03/2006 14:54

How high are the handles for marco sky? I want to compare it with the handles for my buggy already (and then with the mothercare one).

Ta!

champs · 07/03/2006 18:49

bumping for us:)

OP posts:
MarsOnLife · 08/03/2006 08:56

pootle how tall are you? It's better for people 5'6"+

pootlepod · 08/03/2006 13:02

You have tode me to keep away from the marco as I'm a shortie! But I was thinking the other day that my single buggy handles are quite high and I cope with that- just wanted a comparison really (IYSWIM).

MarsLady · 08/03/2006 15:30

lol, okay.

I'm not really sure. I shall go google for you Smile

MarsLady · 08/03/2006 15:35

okay... this is all that I could find.

Hi, I was wondering if you could give me the over-all dimensions of the stroller opened up? Thanks you Length, height, width etc.
Mar-01-06

A: The stroller measures 45 in. height, 33 in. length, 16 width (21 in. wheel to wheel width).

Hope that helps!

pootlepod · 08/03/2006 17:56

Thank you, my current buggy is 42-43 inches so I imagine it would be too high. Will look at the others.

champs · 08/03/2006 18:32

marsy bar, do you know the measurements for the cossato dou lite?

pootlepod · 09/03/2006 18:42

Champs, have a look \link{http://www.johnlewis.com/Nursery/Baby+Travel/Pushchairs/Travel+Systems/230232069/Product.aspx\here}

Also, I am thinking about \link{http://www.mothercare.com/invt/lx1329&bklist=icat,4,,shopushchairs,pus2seaters\this one}

MarsLady · 09/03/2006 22:22

I'm going to Brent X tomorrow and I'll look at both of those buggies. I like the look of the cosatto more than the hoxton. Someone posted on the other thread (where I told you to stay away from the Marco pootle) that they didn't like the hoxton, but I can't remember why (or where the thread is).

Champs... what am I your resident buggy expert? Wink

email me... get my number again and come borrow the marco Smile
