Thinking of buying 2 leather sofas for our playroom ...

Are they kid friendly ?
More importantly are they IN or OUT

bloody brilliant! a total must when you've got kids. SOOOOO easy to clean and they look great for years!

Come on the Pruni - show us yer sofa! (if you remember where you bought it and it was fairly recent then there should be a web page somewhere?)

we have a small 2 seater and a 2and half seater dark brown leather "shell" sofa with leather look cushions that's modern in design and not marshmallow like at all. We used them in the playroom (about 12 months old) and they've been great - still look brand new - but we've had a move round and don't have room for them any more. Are selling them for £150 for the 2 if anyone interested!!!!

I inherited a large three piece leather suite which came with DH. Have lived with it for 10 years and style-wise I hate it with a passion but it is supremely hard wearing and surprisingly comfy. YOu could stab it with scissors and it wouldn;t flinch. I have been trying to get rid for the same length of time, but finances (and DH) never seem to permit.

I am currently looking for my dream retro danish leather sofa to come up on e-bay, whence the elephant scrotum will be replaced.

Ooh thanks for satisfying my curiousity. I quite like that....but prefer my leather sofa's. Each to their own eh?

Sorry for the daft question but do any of you have cats?
We're also thinking of getting a leather suite but I'm worried that the cats may claw it.We've a fabric sofa in one of our rooms which they do claw, but I'm kind of hoping they wouldn't like the texture of leather,if we got one.
Any views,please?.
