Are toddlers not supposed to use footmuffs on buggies?

are they just for newborns?

because the McClaren footmuff on my techno seems particularly small and she looks uncomfortable if I zip the front on?

or is 18 month DD particularly gargantuan?

It's just arrived! I shall try it on the school run in 10mins time and report back. Looks a tiny bit skimpy - my dd is a big girl - but we shall see. It's got to be better than nothing.

I mainly use the Graco when its cold for this reason - but on the cosy toes and stuff a blanket in it. But someone gave me a footmuff for my MacClaren and I do use this sometimes. My problem is that I don't seem to be able to adjust the straps to compensate for the back of the foot muff. Its a Triumph.

It's OK. I added a thin airline blanket folded double, and dd was fine. The Stayput could do with flaps at the side to tuck in.

Berl00dy H - it's torn already! I shall have to return it now.

My Ds2 is 3 , but small ,he really feels the cold. I take a buggy on the school run as he can't manage the walk all way.

He always has load of layers on but complans that his feet are cold. I went to Mothercare the other day and bought hima pair of snow boots. he loves them. No more complaining about his feet !!

I do have fleece blanket in the bottom of the buggy just in case. the best thing about the fleec blanket that it washes easy and drys very quickly
