Dd's 3 and bored rigid of her ducks, little plastic scoops, etc. etc. She's had the same bath toys since she was about 1.

What do your kids love to play with in the tub?

Where's this wind-up lobster from then? Dd's got a wind-up dick and a whale but I haven't seen a lobster.

I'm frantically writing down all your ideas thanks!

Mermaid stuff

kleist · 25/11/2005 22:38

Oh, was that suitable to play with in the water? I thought it looked a bit too posh.

Bloody hell, that is a bit mad isn't it!
I threw quite a few away recently to make room for Xmas stuff!

Bath time is fun though isn't it!

That lobster toy is ELC, I think anyway.

Letterbox online do good kids bath stuff.

She also has a doll that sh'll get from teh new baby that she can bath. All the others she own s have soft bodies so have got a baby born type thing so she can do the bathing her baby thing.

Think I'll stop buying bath toys now though!

charlietherednosedpussy · 25/11/2005 22:41

You can get the wind-up lobster from Mothercare - DS has a wind-up seahorse that he loves and a funny penguin (a Tomy one, I think) that sings a song, swims in the bath and gurgles if you tip it forwards into the water.

We have quite a few other bits and pieces - he has a waterproof book about a duck that goes splash. He also likes the water wands with the bits that clip together - have no idea if you know what I'm talking about, but you can also get them in Mothercare (or Tesco - they're quite good for bath toys). He also has the bath shower thingy from ELC.

But he loves playing with empty bottles - squirting water, etc. He did have some little squirty animals, but they go mouldy because they get damp inside and don't ever dry out properly.

Oh, and PMSL at wind-up dick

kleist · 25/11/2005 22:59

I'm never going to live that one down am I?

Yes, dd loves her various plastic scoops and squirty things (NOT beginning with 'd')

You reminded me though, hunker, about that going mouldy inside. All dd's ducks squirt out this horrible jellylike black stuff if you squeeze them. She says they're doing a poo in the water. Yum.

No, that has to go down as one of my favourite ever typos!

Ew re the ducks though - time for them to go to the great big bath in the sky!

collision · 25/11/2005 23:02

me too...favourite typo ever...am still chuckling!

kleist · 25/11/2005 23:05

What a claim to fame

Yes, hunker, I'd like to chuck all her bath toys out and start again.

hunkermunker · 25/11/2005 23:07

That's the tube thingy I mean

Only four bath toys on the Mothercare website!

kleist · 25/11/2005 23:14

They look good, hunker, thanks.
